Year 3 were studying this text. I wanted to know more. Great to help children understand more about life in Tobago and help notice similarities and differences between cultures.
I like the message of this book and the link to different cultures.
This book is about a boy called Gregory who went to Tobago with his grandparents. Though initially he did not want to go he ended up liking the island. He tried new foods and learned new things. My favorite was when he thought the dolphins were sharks.
I do recommend the book as it's a easy read and is entertaining.
my favorite person is Gregory
This book is fiction and my favorite person is Lennox this book does not have facts this book is interesting because Gregory did not like` Lennox home country but then Gregory got used to it and liked Lennox home country.
It’s a book about a spoiled kid who went to live with his relatives who had a farm and a lot of work. At first he started moaning but after on he realised it wasn’t that bad
Good writing and moral tale for children to understand different cultures.
I loved it because Lennox, Gregory's cousin, said that Gregory wasn't cool, and then when they played and got along more Lennox decided Gregorty was cool! they became good frineds. I enjoyed reading about them playing in the beach and drinking fresch coconut water from the tree on the beach in Tobago.
I like it because it is a adventure and the illaustration is cool!
I thought it was nice.
