Treasure Island

Quite heavy reading but enjoyed finding where all the classic pirate stereotypes come from

I absolutely loved this book, I really enjoyed reading the pirate language and felt that the story rolls from one dramatic moment to the next, hooking the reader in page by page and word by word.

I enjoyed this book very much, because of the adventure and action the description . My favourite character is Jim Hawkins because of all the action and the people he through. I will recommend this book to children and they will definitely enjoy it.

This book was fictional and my favourite person was Jim Hawkins because he was kind and faithful. He as courageous and loyal to those good ones. He did what was best and even did things he was afraid of. This book was written in his perspective so you could really tell how he was feeling and when. It interested me because it is full of adventure and it is a classic book so I wanted to see what it was like.

There was not as much treasure as I was expecting. There was a lot of talking.

Not the best children's book ever written: the BEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN! All the characters are excellent, especially the pirates led by Long John Silver. You see it from the point-of-view of young Jim Hawkins, who is pretty sensible and has some good adventures, but he's not as cool as any of the baddies. It has often been made into films and TV serials, but none of them has been as good as the book. Favourite character: Long John Silver, the ship's cook. The ship is called the Hispaniola. This is where ALL pirate stories originated, but it's still far and away the best.

i liked it because it was very exiting but people do die so its not all happiness.It is a book about pirates and makes you really want to read on.

I give it 5 stars

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It is full of adventure. I recommend this book to people aged 10-13.
