A boy, a girl, revenge and a long drive across America. A brilliant, touching and heart-warming story for people who like their stories sharp!

I wasn’t sure about the book as I read the first few pages (it is worth noting this is a Young Adult book) but once I got into section 2 I was pretty hooked. Interestingly written, exposing the angst of teenage life as they navigate through school and graduation (very American in parts) and how they learn to be comfortable with who they are and that not everyone is how you imagine them to be, even if you’ve known them all your life. For some, life is an act which they can’t maintain for ever.
To begin with I found this book hard-going and while it did pick up towards the end I was originally disappointed by the ending. This book doesn't have a Happily Ever-After and I struggled with that, but since finishing the book I just can't get it's metaphors and their meaning out of my head. So many parts of this book have impacted the way in which I think about human connection and how we envision one another.
It's a book that will inspire such deep questions within the reader, while also at times making them laugh out-loud, there were at least 5 separate occasions where this book made me chuckle, Green does a brilliant job on entwining meaningful statements with utter comedy.
The readers response to this particular book is however they choose to feel. On one hand I could easily say the book was disappointing, didn't have a happily ever after and was hard to read, but taking the time to think about the books message changes everything and in a slightly different context I think this was Green's intent, that by taking the time to look for meaning, you can change everything.
I would definitely recommend this book for teenagers.
My favourite character was Quentin because he was the funniest character and he dealt with bad situations well. Overall this book is an extremely good read and I would recommend it to all ages. :)
The book was fictional and although it started as an exciting and thrilling novel it soon became repetitive and i started to loose interest in the book fast.
I continued reading it to see if the end was as exciting as the start but the ending was disappointing because it was predictable and was not amazing.
my Favourite character is Ben, he is friendly and funny especially when they are in the car on there way to Margo Roth Spiegelman who has in the past ran away. The last two lines of the blurb confuse me, as it were the lines that got me into the book, (which I still enjoyed). The last lines are
And everything leads to one unavoidable question:
Who is the real Margo?
which confuses me because it doesn't really fit anywhere in the book for me. This book I recommend to people 9-13, because the book has the B-word, the S-word, the F-word, the C-word. and I admit those are the only word I know that are swear words, but they are in the book
It was a really good book and a great summer read.
This was the first John Green book I have read. It absolutely blew me away! It had such an amazing mix of mystery, romance and adventure. It had you hooked from the first chapter and made you ask questions. I couldn't put it down. I read it in an evening, it was so good! The characters were amazing. My favourite was Margo, because she was full of mystery. Some people may find it a little slow, but personally I felt that the middle-section of the book allowed the reader to truly understand the message of the book, and Q's ideas. Also, when you read this I can guarantee you'll fall in love with Ben! I am rating it a 4 as I wasn't sure of the ending. I won't spoilt it, but I highly suggest you read this. I'll be reading the rest of John Green's books soon!

It really makes you emotional when you read it, and the ending is very unexpected, which makes the book a whole lot better!
The story is extremely interesting as it is very mysterious.
i really enjoyed this book its one of my favorites.I liked the characters they were very interesting and the story line was captivating, i had read books by the same author before and will continue as i really like them .I would definitely recommend this book.
I loved pretty much everything about this book. I found the way it was written really got you invested in the story, the pages describing things in a very real down to earth way,it got you to feel all the emotions it wanted you to feel. I found myself laughing and smiling out loud at points, and the ending, simplistic as it was,did make me feel incredibly emotional. I thought Quentin was done well as you can see his confidence build up as the story goes on. Ben was one of my favourite characters as he added a humour to the book which made it very enjoyable to read and almost lightened it a bit. I think the author could have potentially expanded on lacys character a little bit particularly her relationship with the other characters e.g Margo however that's not really a major fault. The story in the book was great,I find it quite similar to a previous book I had read in the past called All The Bright Places. Overall this book was amazing and I certainly enjoyed reading it on my flight during the summer,John green is,as always,an amazing author.

the book is beautiful, I liked to see me as the guy does not give up and still looking wing girl and as his friends support
This is really nice book. It told about love and friends. I like this book and I watched this movie.
Good book.
Paper Towns is an amazing book that I loved. It was very interesting and captivating. When I wasn't reading the book, I found myself thinking about it however, I was quite disappointed with the ending as I felt it was a bit of a let down but I still enjoyed the book.
i really liked this book because I found the concept of the story different and i liked the ending because it wasn't a typical teen love story ending. Easy to read and would recommend to others.
This is a very mysterious book which makes it hard to put down because you can never assume what is going to happen next. I love this book because it left me on the edge of my seat and the ending was definitely not expected which I find very interesting. It is a fictional book and my favourite character by far is Margo Roth Spiegelman, as she is very unique and you never know what she is going to do next. I would recommend this book to someone else because it is a very good read.
Left me speechless in a massively good way.
I think you should read this book because its very interesting and a bit scary but a really good book.
I thought this book was incredible, and very well written. John Green is a very talented writer and this book sucked me in, and by the second chapter I was hooked. I absolutely loved this book.
This book was a fun read, more modern and for teenaagers. I actually wanted to read this book fter seeing the trailer for the upcoming movie. I was a bit dissapointed at the end but found it an entertaining read.
I loved this book so much i literally couldn't put it down! I love John Green as an author and thought it couldn't get any better than the fault in our stars but this book has proved me wrong! If you like a good adventure romance this is the book for you!!!
very good book
It was amazing!! Definitely recommended, but there is some language so from the age 11 and up.

Great book... But I am a fan of John Green...
I would recommend it to ages Twelve plus because in some parts of the story the plotline is hard to follow.
