With an action outfit for every occasion, Traction Man patrols the house. He is never less than stylishly turned out and expertly accessorised. He is the last word in heroic fashion flair – until, that is, the day that he is presented with an all-in-one knitted green romper suit.

I like this book because it is an adventure story.
This is a sweet, simple book based around Traction Man ( a play on Action Man). We use it in our curriculum for Yr 1's 'Toys Through Time' topic and I think it is a great fit for this.
I like Traction Man because he saves toys when they are in danger. It's very different to other books I have. I like the pictures, they are funny.
I liked when Traction man gets his own scrub pet and how traction man got his own suit that is a perfect fit and it looks funny on him
I liked traction man and scrubbing brush because they are very good friends. I liked the green outfit because it is funny.
I like the illustrations. For example, in the kid's bedroom, it was really messy.
This is fiction.
The main character is traction man.
I would recommend this book to all my friends.
I would probably give the book a 4 and a half but I can’t mark it as that. I was looking out the book for a Year 1/2 class. I liked the book - loved his embarrassment over the knitted one piece with matching bonnet - but not sure how the classes will react to it. I’m really not sure that they’ll get it. At our school it might be more appropriate for Y3/4… It’s just a case of what they’ve been exposed to…
The book seems a bit childish, but there were some things in the plot I did not understand. Anyway, I’d like to have such a toy for myself too.
Super book, really fed the imaginations.
Loved this book! It’s so funny. It’s about a mini super hero (I’m guessing the little boy’s action figure) coming to life and completing missions such as battling against a kitchen sieve, rescuing some spoons from being brushed up and defeating an evil spade. Really funny and entertaining.
I loved it because it was all great and really funny!
Really funny
It is an interesting and funny book. I enjoyed it.
I love it when traction man swims in the sink.
This is one of the best book’s I’ve ever read
I really enjoyed this book because it was fun to read. I liked the way they made different household objects into characters like the dishcloth octopus. My favourite part was the mysterious toes in the bath tub. I would recommend this book to my friends because it’s so funny.
It was so cool
This is a fiction book. With an action outfit for every occasion, he patrols the house saving toys, guarding toast, searching for lost wrecks and rescuing damsels in distress
What fun! This book is so clever. I smiled and chuckled all the way through. I can see how engaging and fun this would be to use as a writing stimulus. What on earth could the shark-like scissors be up to?
Going to get this for my nephew who has just started Year 2.
I liked traction man and his pet scrubbing brush. Scrubbing brush rescued traction man from the royal cleaning cloth.

Traction man is a young boy's action figure toy. He saves dolls from mud, rides in a supersonic shoe and dives in the dark depths of the sink. I liked reading this book because I liked the pictures.
