This book was really good and I would recommend it.
I really love this story. It was interested and sometimes very sad. I do cry reading it.
Best story ever
Great book! Nice to read!
superb
This book is very sad and is based on a mother and son having to leave their home because they are in danger. There is a dog called Shadow who is an important part of the story.
Shadow was a good book including other nations was a good idea .
I liked it and my favourite character was Shadow. I would recommend it.
I felt like I had mixed emotions about the book because of the bit where Aman's mum got beaten in a prison
Amazing, just not for younger raders
i liked the dog best. his name is polly/shadow
very interesting
I thought it was sad but also really good as in the end Aman got freed
I have no words to describe this book.
I thought how sad it will be for refugees when the leave their home country and everything and everyone they loved behind.
My favourite character was Aman. He did a lot of things to stay alive and leave his country safely.
I would recommend this book to someone who has never met or thought about a refugee and when they read it they will understand how hard life will be for them.
It was kind of sad but it was really nice and cute. I love the dog!
It was a good book and I really liked it!
No because it was a sad book.
Really good.
Lovely book
Good book telling the story of a young Afghan (asylum seeker) boy. He is put in the detention centre for illegally crossing to England with his mother. His best friend’s grandpa decides to visit him oh the behalf for his grandson , he write a article for the newspaper after being touched by his story. They starts a protest.
I would recommend this book to anyone who like happy endings. Also as this book has a bit of sad scenes it is for older readers.
I like the book Shadow by Michael Morpurgo because it tells people about how it feels like to loose everything and it also has a message that if you let something you love go you will love it even more a bit like a moral story. Shadow is also a sad story that people that like comedies might not like but if you don't like a book there's plenty others to choose from. Shadow explains how it is to loose your home and your other friends. I recommend Shadow to people that rarely experience something bad and had lived in the same country all their lives.
I loved it it was heartbreaking and it had such a nice ending
The first page made me full of anticipation for this book. It was full twists and turns in the story and sometimes really pulled at my heartstrings. It was an absolute emotional rollercoaster for me. I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy adventure and immersion. Didn't ever want to put it down! Brilliant book!
