My favourite character was Sarah, I can't explain why but I really liked her. My favourite part was when Ram Dass put all the nice things in her room.

An awesome book I recommend it to my friend
I find the adventure of Sara Crew very interesting and I love it.
A little Princess is about a girl called Sara Crewe. She lived in India. When Sara was seven, her father takes her to London so she can study in a bording school. Will Sara find kindess and generosity which is everything she needs? Please read the book to find out what happend to Sara.
The person I like best is Sara because she is a smart, caring and a helpful girl. Also, she likes to imagen stuff. She helps people when they are in need.
I would recommend this book to others because it tells you to always be kind and helpful. Plus, it is a funny teaching story.
I liked A little princess because Sara who is the main character, is always kind even though miss Minchin was constantly being unkind. I liked how Sara helped the poor begger girl and I learnt that being kind and not caring what other people think is what made Sara a happy child.
The book was very interesting but I wish Lavinia's character was explored further to understand her more especially why she was such a difficult person and often a bully.
A good story
I read Classic Starts. I liked the part when Sara had a new home.
This book was full of emotion. The characters were very interesting. It had an amazing twist and you could learn more about the past. I would recommend this book as a must read classic by France H Burnett who wrote the Secret Garden.
I enjoyed this book because I enjoyed reading about Sara trying to think brightly even when she was being treated badly. It showed how you can always be resilient even when times are tough. I would recommend this book as it is a very enjoyable read.
Read this after I read 'The Princes and the Suffragette'. It's a great book which, although written in 1905, still explore relevant issues - privilege, generosity, adversity and above all the power of the imagination and friendship's ability to warm even the bleakest of situations.
It's not a classic without cause.
One of my favourite books. I always like how Sarah keeps persevering. I won't say anything more since I don't want to spoil the book. I like the descriptions in this book.
An indescribable book. My favourite character was Sara. I like how she goes from riches to rags to riches. I would definitley recommend it if you like books full of imagination.
I really like this it is amazing
I really liked this book
Really nice
This book was nice. I liked Sara the main character best because she was kind to everyone in the story like Becky. The main action was in a old school. I would recommend it to anyone from 6-10.
I love this book!So good i highly recommend.
1. I thought that A Little Princess was about a real princess’s life but instead it’s about a girl who turned from immensely rich to a very poor person.
2. If it was fiction, my favorite character is Sara Crewe because she tries to imagine good things even when she lives in the attic as a servant and is always polite. I also like her because her imagining skills is really good and is very kind she bought six buns and gave 5 to a beggar child even though she’s also very hungry.
3. If it was factual, it interested me because of how her she could make up stories almost whenever she wants and how her life changed from a luxurious life as a show pupil from a servant girl.
4. I would recommend it to someone else because you could vision what Sara is imagining and how the plot line twisted.
Miss Minchin owns a seminary for girls. When little Sara starts at the seminary, Miss Minchin is immediately flattered and shows her off to parents. Sara's father, Captain Crewe falls dead, leaving Sara no inheritage or money. Miss Minchin keeps Sara, but keeps her in harsh conditions. With Emily(her doll), can Sara survive? Find out in A little Princess.
A beautiful piece of literature.
A young girls hopes, dreams and realities.
Usborne - lime band
A realistic fiction written by the brilliant author Frances Hodgoson Burnett who based this book on some of the things that happened in her life. I love the change from Rich to Poor then the thrilling return to wealth. Friendship and bravery are some of the key things about this book.
A rich girl turns poor and rich again
I really enjoyed this book because it's full of adventure and funny characters. Sara Crewe is a very rich little girl that can think up magical stories about mermaids and adventure. She pretends she is a princess so she can try to act like one. Disastrous news come when her beloved father dies. The wicked head teacher forces Sara to become a scullery maid just like Becky one of Sara's friends. But after weeks and weeks Sara is found by her fathers friend Ram-Dass and gets to live her wealthy and rich life once again with pleanty of friends. I would recommend this book to any child who loves adventures and dreams.
Glorious! It made me want to be more like the main character and I felt intimately connected to the whole story because of it.
I absolutely loved this book and would strongly recommend it to any girl aged 5-13.
Very exciting.
It is fiction and my favourite character is Sara Crew.
I loved this book about a little girl in the olden days. She starts out very rich and living in India. She moves to London to go to school and things change a lot for her. She has a big imagination and is able to ignore how horrible Miss Minchin is to her.
I enjoyed this book
