Good

It was a really funny book.It was about a girl called Matilda and her terrifying
headmistress Miss Trunchbull. If you did a mstake you would get thrown out of the window or the playground.

I like it when Matilda loves to read books

Great storyline. And great chemistry between the characters.

I've already seen the movie. But this book is well good it's not terrible it's not terrific is ok

It is really funny

I think Matilda was extremely smart and may have been the smartest in the book.
I liked Miss Honey because she had adopted Matilda with all of her love.
It was Fiction because Matilda could move things with her mind at the end of the book.
I would recommend it because it is fascinating how a little girl can do maths problems such as 1397x9.

Amazing she has powers!

It was a classical book, decided to read it again today. Matilda is my favourite character as she is similar to me; loves books! Would totally recommend to new readers.

I liked when Matilda with her eyes made the chalk move and also when Miss Trunchbull fainted The person i liked the Best was Matilda and i would recommend it to someone else .

I liked the ending and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes books

We all really enjoyed this book. It is suitable for year 2 and year 3.

it was an astonishing book

This is really good, I didn't want to put the book down. I have the film, but i prefer the book any day. I have read this book before, just love the story line and Matilda herself. I try to put myself in her shoes.

Great book!

Dramatic and magical

One of my all time favourite books. I first saw this as a film but much preferred the book as you get more of an insight into Matilda's thoughts and feelings.

This book was fiction. My favourite character was Lavendee because she was the person who put the newt in the jug.

Matilda is brilliant but her parents don't like her. They decide to leave Matilda with her nursery teacher and live happily ever after.

Matilda is a very smart girl.I loved how much she was proud and loved books.The author is smart, funny and he is not afraid to be funny and smart. He showed us that even little kids can be very smart.I loved the names of the kids.Even parents can’t be perfect.Like Matilda her parents are not happy.But Matilda can do stuff herself.Even her brother is mean . Matilda learned how to read at a very young age.I love the author’s books.If you like words, drawing and a wonderful story this is what you should read.If you can’t do something then you get in trouble and it is for a good reason Keep going and never give up that is what this is about.The author would say be proud of you, be yourself and don’t stop.

It's good

I don't like this book because her mum and dad was really done they don't want her to go school but she was some more than them but they thought that that wasn't even True by dad teaches kids and Miss Trunchbull she's so scary
