Matilda’s parents have called her some terrible things, but the truth is she’s a genius and they’re the stupid ones. Underestimating Matilda proves to be a big mistake as they, along with her spiteful headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, soon find out when Matilda discovers she has a very special power.

A book that every children would love, emotional and exciting at the same time. Roald Dahl has written the best books for children and his novels are always a satisfying read.
The longest book I’ve read. Matilda is really smart
I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn't read many books or have much of an imagination. Matilda likes reading so this would encourage you to read like her.
It was very good and exciting because of how recognised Matilda was for smartness and her kindness.
This story is so good the matilda is so smart and wish I had powers like her.
This book is about a little girl who is a fast learner and whose parents don't appreciate her. It is a lovely book that teaches you about resilience and to stand up for yourself.
I liked Matilda because it inspired people and showed them you can be whoever you like.It was cool how she could be so smart at a young age.I loved how she struggled so much but still could do what she wanted to do!

I love how this classic celebrates uniqueness and special abilities. I would recommend it to every young reader but especially those in the 10 -13 years of age bracket.
No warnings, just be ready for some fun inspiration.
My favourite character is Bruce bogtrotter because I liked it when he ate all the chocolate cake. It really interested me because I was so sad for Matilda that she didn’t have a good mum and miss honey took her in and there was a happy ever after. Yes recommend

incredible
Matilda is a brilliant young girl who loves reading and is far smarter than her family. At school, she meets the kind Miss Honey but must face the cruel Miss Trunchbull. As she stands up for herself and her friends, she discovers she has a special power. It is a funny, warm story about being brave and showing that even the smallest person can make a big difference.
Fun
