Good book

It was funny because the mean grandma was turned into a big long stick. Before that, George thought she was a witch because of how mean she was. After she got big, she started shrinking until they could no longer see her. She was never mean to George again because she had vanished.

When Grandma got enormously tall, her head went through the roof. I enjoyed reading when George made the Marvellous Medicine.

George has to look after his irritating grandma and give her her daily dose of medicine. Frustrated by her demands and complaints, George decides to make his own variety of medicine for her. What ensues when she takes the potion surprises everyone!
Written in a humorous and engaging style which appeals to young readers, this is a book full of fun and surprises.

My favourite character is George. I like him because he is very mischievous, because he gave his grandma lots of horrible medicine.

I like the book because of the way George made his grandma shoot up through the roof of the tall building, with her neck sticking out - you don't see people's necks taller than giraffes' necks in real life.

It is a really good book, and I don't know how all those ingredients didn't make his grandma feel sick.

I liked George the best because he was clever and a bit naughty.

I liked George making the medicine for his grandmother because she was selfish and rude. The medicine made her taller and taller then at the end George made another medicine then she got smaller and smaller and she disappeared.

A wonderful Mixture Of a book
- MARVELLOUS!

My favourite character of the story is George because he made a medicine to make Grandma be lesser of a grump. But Grandma became worse and bigger and taller. George made another medicine but made Grandma super tiny. I think George needs to do an antidote or medicine that can bring back Grandma to normal.

I liked this book as it was very fun because it had lots of adjectives and descriptions in it. I liked it when the Grandma shot up into the air and broke the house because it was so cool and I couldn't stop laughing at it. I would recommend this book

I liked George because he didn’t care what he put in the medicine he saw it he put it in.I would definitely recommend this book to someone

I think George's Marvellous medicine is about a boy who is bored of looking after his grizzly old grandma (who is nothing like my granny or yours!) and thinks it's time to make things start happening. He thinks up a brilliant plan of making up a new medicine for his grandma and when he feeds it to grandma her feet are at the bottom of the house and her head at the top of the house. It makes her as thin as a pencil and longer than a giraffe. My favourite bit was at the very end when it said 'but George wasn't just thinking about grandma he was thinking that he had just touched the tip of a magical world'. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in mischief and potions.
