This story is about Sherlock Holmes solving a strange case. A man thought his wife was a vampire because she bit their baby. Holmes is very smart and uses his logic to find the real answer. The truth is not supernatural. The mystery was interesting and had good tension.
My favourite character is Sherlock Holmes because he solves the case quickly. My least favourite is Jack Ferguson because he was jealous and tried to hurt his little brother.
I liked the surprise ending and the simple way the author wrote the book. I felt satisfied when I finished reading, but also a bit sad for the family. The book was a bit too short, I wanted to read more.
Fiction book based on detective Sherlock Holmes, narrator is Dr Watson. Enjoyed but a little scary in places. My favourite character was Watson. I would recommend it to someone who likes scary books.
It was very mysterious andI like mysterybooks
Loved the explanation to this book, would recommend but kinda creepy and scary at the same time which is why I don't entirely give it five stars.
I would recommend it to 7 to 10
year olds because it has poison in it.
Very good
I liked it because the mother was actually trying to save the baby instead of sucking it's blood out.
I really love this book and I got drew to it that I finished it in a night. I love the method of how Holmes solves the mystery and I admire the odd bit of attack but not to much .It makes us tense but overall I love it.
I loved the Sussex vampire book it was very scary and very exciting. I like Holmes. I will recommend this book to someone.
It was really cool because you got to see a vampire
The mother was ill and that is why she didn't want to tell the secret.
this is a brilliant book and i loved it so much.
This story was about vampires as the name suggests .it was about a vampire sucking someone's blood .at first they thought that the mother sucks the baby's blood but it actually turns out to somebody else.
It was a rollercoaster of suspense about revealing the truth about a kind loving wife or so they thought until Sherlock Holmes uncovers what the reason for the mystery was.Is there really something called a vampire?
It is a fiction book.I liked Watson because he helped the wife of Mr Richmond Ferguson as he was the only on allowed to see this lady. She would not see anyone until Doctor Watson stepped in and helped out with this unsolvable mystery or is it? Read the book to find out more.
A definite recommendation for ages 9-12
I like detectives and murder, so this was a great book
