Exciting sequel with lots going on, new friends and adventures

My favourite character is Varjak. I would recommend this book to anyone age 8 and up. This book is about a cat who is an extremely gifted fighter and defeat’s another gifted fighter and everything becomes fair in the city because Varjak has made it fair.

This is an another fiction book along with the first book ' Varjak Paw'!

Just like its other book, has has spiky turns with unpredictable surprises!

It was very intense, both of his best friends seemed gone but in the very final few chapters......I would say its on my top ten favourite books!

There was a lot of suspense and tension involved in this book. The story developed into Varjak becoming a top fighter and taking over the most skilled group of all of the cats. I enjoyed reading this book very much.

I have read this book’s first series and it was so good they it inspired me to read the second series of Varjak Paw which is the outlaw Varjak Paw

I liked it because it's about 7 skills to make a cat a good fighter.

I liked this book most when Varjak and the free cats found the secret city and defeated Sally Bones and her gang. I wish there's going to be a Varjak Paw three. I liked Varjak best. Yes I would recommend this book.

This book is really good

Sally Bones who leads the city’s deadliest gang knows the way so she can fight like none other. But Varjak paw who also knows the way is trying to stop her. The thing is, Sally Bones has more skill with the way. I love this book I definitely recommend it.

It was very descriptive and I also loved the first book. It was about a cat called Varjak Paw who knew 'The Way: 7 skills' that could win a fight. But Sally Bones, a thin white cat with ice blue eyes knows more skills than Varjak! He better run!

I loved how dramatic this book is and how well described it is- it makes me feel like I am really there, watching Varjack fight. I really like the use of suspense at the end when Varjak is fighting Sally Bones- the strongest cat in the city. The description of Sally Bones is really vivid. When Varjak beats her its an an amazing turn in the story.

I like book 1 better but still love this one

This is the second book of the Varjak Paw series. In this book, Varjak meets his enemy: Sally Bone. She also knows the secret way of cats but is using them for bad things. finally, at last, Varjak somehow beats Sally Bones which makes him the leader.

I liked Jessie the best and she has been through a lot even though she is really little but she will stand by Varjak’s side no matter what.
I would definitely recommend this book.

Razor was my favourite character because he is really smart with a complicated personality. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy Warriors by Erin Hunter and Avatar and the Last Airbender.

Varjak returns to face on old enemy, with loyalties tested, new alliances forged and old ones renewed. Varjak must face his own doubts and demons if he is to take on the hardest challenge. But he’s not doing it alone…

I would recommend this book because it is an excellent story about stray animals and daring adventures.

I really enjoyed this book. My favourite part was when Varjak (The main character) defeated Razor (Someone in his gang by using his claw and scratching him in his face. I think the book was intense and action packed. I felt really excited when Varjak got in a fight with Sally Bones (His rival) which he also won. I'd recommend this book to people who love adventure books and cat-lovers.

I loved the book! It was exciting because Varjak got together a few cats and challenged Sally Bones.

It was an brilliant second book of the original story, Varjak Paw.

I used Varjak Paw as my whole class reading book in Year 3 last year and the children loved it. I've got the same class again and I cannot wait to read this sequel to them. They are going to love this too! It has all the hallmarks of a great adventure - friendship, heroes, battles and action all the way through! :)

I thought that this book was amazing!!!!!! There was lots of cliffhangers but fun ones. My favourite person in the story was Ozzie because even though he was very big and looked tough he still had feelings. His big brother Omar always told him what to do and sometimes Ozzie felt left out. I liked how at the end Omar included Ozzie though. The end was awesome. I am sad that Pernisha Scratch died because of the train when she tried to show that the Scratch Sisters were better than the Orrible twins(Ozzie and Omar). When Holly fell down the vault I thought she died and felt sorry for her but when she was kept as prisoner by Sally Bones I was delighted she was alive. I'm also happy that in the end Tam actually didn't run away, she was just getting Cludge to help. I was happy that Cludge found his family and Varjak defeated Sally Bones. If it didn't happen then I wouldn't have believed that Razor joined Varjak's gang. I would recommend it to everyone possible. I wish Mrs Moggs would have survived from the Bones gang.

We have a Siamese cat and I couldn’t help wondering how he would feel in the twists and turns of the story. And there were lots! A great adventure full of colourful characters who forge strong bonds due to the plot journey. Great scene setting too - could visualise the different places and imagine the scene. A thoroughly great read for all ages.

This exciting ,amazing Page turning novel by s.f said Will be sure to have you wanting more. I would recommend this novel from ages 8 to 17. My favourite character is Varjak as he’s adventurous and he stands up for himself .

I enjoyed this book because all the way through there were hints of what might happen. But in the book there was some sad moments and many happy ones. My favourite character was Clugde ,he tried her best all the way through the book to help all her friends. I recommend this book to someone who likes cats and adventure stories. I didn't think what happened in the end was what was going to happen though.

This book was the cat`s tail. I liked the character Varjak Paw because he was very courageous and caring. I LOVED IT SO MUCH!
