Really interesting. Different to other Ronald Dahl books
Wonderful story great to do a school project with.
Engaging as ever from Dahl!
This book was awesome! I loved the giant turtle and all the other stories. I liked Henry Sugar and his tale. I would definitely recommend it.
These stories were brilliant. Often there is a weaker story in a set, but all of these were great.
I really liked the story because Henry Sugar realized he was one in a million.
I think that it was an expertly written story, one of Dahl's best in fact! my favourite person was Henry Sugar. I would recommend it to 7, 8 and 9 year olds
full of sugar
I thought this book was a lovely book
It was a very great book : just stop for a moment and think: a casino-obsessed man with a sudden new ability and heart; a child who can communicate with animals; and even a fingersmith… What do all these things have in common? They are all part of this amazing 7-short-story collection like 4 others…
Featuring from the strangest and most exciting situations such as a treasure-hunter and animal-defender to even a recount on Roald Dahl’s own personal life and how he became one of the most famous writers in history, Roald Dahl writes his first and latest short stories in one fantastic, unmissable book.
I would give it 9+ since it will be fun for almost all the family.
Wouldn't recommend it. Sounds good but isn't.
good
its boring yawwn
Great
you should definitely read this book if you like cards if you do then its all you ever dreamed of...
More writing, 30-35 lines of writing on each page. Range of long chapters, and no pictures. Some interesting parts, but not all that interesting for smaller ones. Recommended for older ones, younger ones need books with pictures, unlike this one.
