I read this book because it was recommended by school. It was a really funny and adventurous book and I liked it because of that. I also liked the fun facts at the beginning of each chapter. The illustrations were really good and detailed. I still liked the illustrations even though there weren’t that many.
This book in 3 words: Aventure. Scary. Mysterious

It is about a boy who lives in a tree which one night came crashing down on to a girls house. They find out that other trees came crashing down and it was a cause of an oger. As well the girl's parents are missing. Join Elf Girl and Raven Boy on a quest to find the-Witch-who-Knows -Everything.

I think this book is a great book. Anyone from year 3 upwards will love it. This book is about a boy and a girl who have to save the forest that they live in from a giant ogre . They meet loads of creatures on the way.One time Raven boy almost got eaten by a bunch of trolls.Every time elf girl saves Raven boy with her magic bow.

Ogres, and beasts, and trolls, oh my! Follow Elf Girl and Raven Boy as they journey through Fright Forest to search for the witch who could save their lives- or at least they hope so! A brilliant start to the series! Marcus Sedgwick has a very wild imagination and therefore I love all his books!
