The Iron Woman has come to take revenge on mankind. Full of the power and fantastic imagination of his book ""The Iron Man"", this sequel from the late Poet Laureate is a cry against the relentless pollution of the Earth’s waterways through the dumping of industrial waste.

This is an excellent class book to read aloud which provokes thoughts and emotions related to the damage humans are doing to the world. The author's choice of vocabulary is fantastic e.g. writhing, and encourages children to use their imaginations. Acting out what is happening to the creatures helps children understand the vocabulary and apply it to deeper conversations about the issues raised.
It makes you think but it's too weird and way out there to really consider change ... at times a little hard to follow.
The book is about pollution? The Iron Woman meets a so-called ordinary girl Lucy in the night. With the help of the Iron Man and Hogarth the try to stop pollution together. Although there is a twist, the manager Mr.Wells does not listen and things get out of hand. The expedition [Hogarth, Lucy, Iron Woman and Man]are the main characters.
I recommend readers 7+ because there are some expertise words. The person who I recommend this to is my cousin because he is very concerned about pollution. Will she succeed? Find out in the book.
The Iron Woman is a book about a girl who meets the Iron Woman at night. Then later in the book she meets the Iron Man and a young man called Hogarth. The Iron Woman is determined to save the world from pollution.
Ages about 7+ because there are tricky words in the book. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in pollution and recycling.
Great book, hope you like my review and I hope you read The Iron Woman.
Will she save the world from pollution? Read the book to find out!
I hope you enjoy it!
I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as The Iron Woman. I like how the author describes things
It is scary, makes you protective of wildlife, could cause a different opinion about the world, the Iron Woman is very sensitive about animals, rate it 997 trouts out of 1000 trouts, very funny but serious ending. It is a great read.
it was good but I enjoyed the other one a bit more
Not as good as the first.
I think people should read this book because I found the storyline interesting and there were lots of detail that helped me imagine what the writer was talking about.
I thought that this book was incredibly amusing and I would like to share that experience with others. I thought this story was really unique because it talked about the modern day climate in a fictional way. Also it does add in some supernatural parts like the Space-Bat-Angel-Dragon. I promise you, you will enjoy it.
I recommend this book to anyone over 7 but anyone under that age is free to read the book.
A girl called Lucy grows up and becomes the iron woman from an explosion of lightning.
A fiercely imagined, hugely challenging fantasy...
