It was tiring story and it was long.
You must not be greedy and must help your friends
A classic tale of a Red Hen who is declined help by all those asked. A great story to teach children the importance of hard work and personal initiative.
I liked it when they all wanted to eat the bread but they couldn’t because they didn’t help make the bread and only little red hen couple because she helped make it.

i like it
I like the hen and I like her house and feathers. It feels like I'm the chicken.
Gorgeously done, lots of lovely textures and simple identifiable characters. Good stuff!
Because it's good
Lovely story
Fun book and story.
Found too easy to read for my age and book level.
I love it
Very lovely book,I enjoyed it.
The little red hen wants everyone to help her. She has to plant the corn in the field and when it's grown she has to bring it to the mill to be turned into flour. When she makes the bread she doesn't let her friends have any because they didn't help her.
I liked guessing what animals were behind the flaps
It has a good message about doing things yourself.
