Oliver is thrilled by the prospect of performing in the school play until he’s cast as a big, bad, blundering troll. Deciding to make the best of it, he sets to researching his character on the Wizard Wide Web. And, when a guest turns up to opening night, it looks like Oliver’s knowledge of trolls is going to be needed for more than just acting.

Super
I liked this book because it was easy to read and understand I loved the character of the baby witch and would recommend this book to early readers who love fantasy and action.
I liked Ms. Darling because she’s SO dramatic. I’d recommend it to all that like adventure, fear and …………MAGIC of course!
This book was really good. I liked it when Oliver was chosen to be the part of the troll in the play.

Dreams do come true
Oliver Moon is really looking forward to the school's play. He hopes to be a hero in it, but suddenly he finds that he's not a hero, he's a troll! On the night of the play he comes on and everyone laughs. A troll that was lurking about near the school hears the laughter and is furious to find that they are laughing about a troll. He storms on stage and everyone shrieks - you'll have to read the book to find out how it ends!
This is a fun book with short chapters and lots of pictures. Oliver is a junior wizard and at magic school. This story has trolls and surprises.

Also a bit young for an eight year old, but great story.
