It's about the most beautiful fish in the ocean, with shimmering, shiny rainbow scales! At first he is too proud to share any scales with the other fish, so they stay away and he feels lonely. He visits a wise octopus who tells him sharing will make him happy. So he gives away his beautiful scales one by one to his friends. He learns that sharing brings joy, friendship and true happiness. I loved the sparkling pictures and the bright colours. It made me feel happy too and taught me that sharing is the best thing of all!

It was also one of my favourite books to read when I was a young child. I believe many young children are drawn to this book because of the colourful illustrations and the textured fish scales, which immediately capture their attention. In a way, this reflects how children may feel when they see a toy or piece of equipment they really want to play with and want to keep for themselves instead of sharing. This book may be beneficial for young children of all ages, but I believe that it may be even more significant for children in the early years. I do not think this book contains any content that would be concerning for young readers.

I loved all the colours

The beautiful rainbow fish shared his glittering scales to others.. but the story just ended just like that.. I wanted more.. was he happy after sharing the scales? Did his friends stayed with him or left him?

I liked it when rainbow gave some of his sparkly scales to every fish that he knows.

I enjoyed reading The Rainbow Fish. It is a fiction story about a fish with shiny scales who learns to share with others. My favourite character was the Rainbow Fish because he learned to be kind and generous. I liked this book because it teaches an important lesson about friendship and sharing. I would recommend it to other children because it has bright pictures and a strong message. I would also give this 5 stars.
