The first book in the bestselling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series – now as a graphic novel! Discover the story behind the Disney+ series.
Look, I didn’t want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vapourised my maths teacher. That’s when things started really going wrong.
Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive.
This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I’ve stolen his lightning bolt – and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.
Return to the World of Percy Jackson in the best-selling, brand-new adventure featuring the original hero in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Chalice of the Gods – out now!
And don’t miss the trio’s next adventure in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Triple Goddess, coming soon!

Exciting story, but the graphic novel is hard to read!
İt was a really interesting book and İ would 100% recommend it to anyone who likes adventure and mystery. Another reason İ enjoyed this book is because it was very heavily based on Greek mythology. This book is one of my favourite books.
One of my favourite books is Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. When I was first going to read this book I thought it was going to be ok but it turned out to be a brilliant read. First off all it has interesting names for each chapter like 'Three Old Ladies Knit the Socks of Death'. Secondly, I love adventure books and this book has a little bit of adventure in it; Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood have to travel from Camp Half Blood to Medusa's lair and then to the Lotus Casino. You get the idea! My favourite character is Annabeth Chase because she's always giving different nicknames to Percy Jackson - the latest one - 'seaweed brain'. Finally this book really hooks readers like me because nearly at the end of every chapter there is a cliffhanger. This is why I enjoyed reading this book. 10/10 for me.
it was a great book though it was not what i expected, it was fantastic read full of surprised, i would defiantly recommend it.
I liked the character Percy the best, because he is adventurous. It was really good and I would highly recommend it.
love the pictures
Starting of a new dawn.......or dusk
I love percy jackson it is one of my favourites. I would definitely recommend it to other people . The person that i liked was percy obviously.
Lots of fun and definitely worth a try for readers looking for adventure novels, I quite enjoyed this one. The story was engaging and the characters were good. Although it wasn't flawless, I would definitely recommend this book; the artwork was pretty great and the story was solid.
My only criticism would be that some sections felt a little rushed or jumped from one scene to another- it didn't affect the ease of reading it but you did feel like you missed out on some fleshing out of a scene. I would perhaps recommend the full novel over this version unless the reader particularly prefers graphic novels.
I like the idea of being half human and half god. I would want to be related to zeus, Hanes and Kronos.
Overall really good.
I liked Percy because he is really brave.
It was a fantastic book! Percy Jackson is a Half-Blood which means half human, half god. He has a sword called Riptide which is Anaklusmos in greek. Percy is kind, honest and brave. He is the son of Poseidon(god of the ocean). I really recommend you to read the comic and formal version of the Percy Jackson series.
I loved this book. My favourite character was Grover.
Percy Jackson is a normal kid a d is suddenly brought to a mysterious camp. He later finds out he is the son of the sea god Poseidon and he is sent ins quest to retrieve the stolen lightning bolt of Zeus.
This is one of the best books I have read because it has lots of adventure, battles and betrayal. The characters are really interesting because they have different personalities, but all seem to know all about the mystical ways of the gods.
It was fun
This book is brilliant, due to its combination of fiction and non-fiction. My favorite character was ares, the god of war. I recommend this to people who like Greek mythology .
really good Percy i wish I was u
An amazing book full of mythol.ogy and magical wapons to kill magical creatures. My favourite character was Percy, a teenager demigod- the son of Poseidon and a mortal woman. A definite recommendation.
Funny suspenseful
It was not as good as the other graphic novels I have read.
it is a good read
It was a really interesting book with lots of actions. I thought that it was like a mystery book as they didn't know who stole the lighting bolt, but at the end it revieled that it was Luke. The god of war was trying to even kill Percy. But I also want to know what happened to Grove who went after the pan, but I really want to know what happens in the second book.
Brilliant book for 11 year olds and over
You should read this book if you love adventure stories or even just like comics.
cool
