Not as good as the first in the series, felt a bit predicable. -How much bad luck can one family actually have!
I didn’t have the highest hopes after I read the second book, so I’m not feeling utterly let down. Although, I was expecting something a bit different.
The storyline felt same-old, same-old. The hero falls down a rabbit hole of illegal activities and unrealistically. Judging by the past circumstances, Madison and her sister must’ve smashed a mirror or something. All that bad luck? I did enjoy the introduction of Wolf, but his character felt bland at times.
I did love how we got a glimpse into Madison’s perspective, and I enjoyed seeing Lauren and Jam together! I did think that Baxter’s storyline was a little far fetched, especially the ending. There were a lot of things that didn’t really add up: for example, how did Madison jump off a cliff and NOT have any injuries?? Side note-when she was in the ocean, it could’ve been a lovely flashback. Missed opportunity!
All in all, it was alright. 4 stars.
Amazing, perfect for people who like mysteries.
It was wonderful.
My favourite character was Madison because she is very nice and truthful.
I would recommend this.
There is no word in the English dictionary that could describe how much I truly love that book. I could read it 10 times or more. I whole heartedly recommend this book.
This book shows that you don’t need to be declared a hero to be a hero. You can save someone’s life by a gut instinct.
i loved it
I really enjoyed this book! It was really gripping and thrilling! A great read for people who like spine tingling books!
It was very descriptive and had a great storyline. My favourite character was Maddison because even though everyone didn't believe her about Lauren being kidnapped, she still believed she was right and convinced everyone else. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of mystery but also likes happy endings.
Very intriguing
I recommend this book if you like adventure stories and thrills. It has a couple of turns in the book.
It was really interesting to read and I really understand it when I read it. It's was blowing my mind when I finished it,
Sophie McKenzie's Missing Me is a thrilling read. It tells the story of Madison, a girl totally in the shadow of her adventurous older sister. During a visit to her sister's flat in Paris, she not only finds out that her sister is to have a baby but that her father is an anonymous sperm donor. Wrapped up in a furious search to find her birth father, Madison finds herself in a dangerous search for missing girls.
This soon gets her into more trouble than she expected and once in, she can't get out. Then she receives a mysterious message and realises how much danger her sister is in. With promises, trust and fear weighing her down, can Madison find someone who believes her and can she finally be herself?
This book is great. It explains that in order to be brave you need to trust, even if it's hard to find. I love it because of its gripping chapters that are so well written. You will hang on to every word. I have read all of the books in Sophie Mckenzie's 'Missing' Trilogy, and this is probably my favourite. It is different to all the others because it is told from Madison's point of view, not from Lauren's (Madison's older sister)
3rd book out of the series 'Girl Missing' Sophie Mackenzie's Missing, Me is the most thrilling book yet! Madison is 15 now and after Sam's (her dad's) death she finds out that her real father was a sperm donor. On a journey to find out who she really is, she gets herself into more trouble than she'd hoped for. With lives at stake, will Madison save her friends as well as finding out who her father is?
