I felt sad for the boy when he had no friends and the kids were not kind
I loved the story's reason as why money doesnt buy friendship, feelings and love. At first Joe is sad and doesnt have a friend to play with so his dad pays a girl who's an actress to pretend to be his friend. She pretends to like Joe and tells him that, so Joe wants to kiss her but then she thinks he's going to far so she says ' not here ' to Joe when he wants to kiss her. Then Joe's Dad's girlfriend Saphire asks Joe's friend if she had seen her somewhere but she says no and Joe's dad says the same. Then, Oh my, reader. I must not tell you all of this, let me pause the story here. It is fiction so I like Joe's desire to be normal. I recommend this book to someone else.
Love any David Walliams book!
Read to my mum at the start of summer
Good
It’s funny and has a lot of interesting words
I like how they have lots of adventure. It’s really cool that he has a gaming room in his house. I think this book is about friendship and proves that money can’t buy everything.
It also had some really funny words in it.
This book was quite funny , I think others might enjoy it
I liked the characters in the book and the story
It was fun
I liked my mums voice for the dad
I thought billionaire boy was good but at the end it start getting boring and didn't want to read it. So that's my opinion
I enjoyed it
So funny !
My favourite character was raj
David William is definitely my reader . The chubby of the book.
Does not affect me . It just really makes me listen think and read . It’s incredibles.
Fiction book, the boys that always steals the money because I just love the book.
Yes I would recommend it
I liked this book because it was very funny and it was also heartwarming
we loved this book! we loved the friendship between bob and joe
My mum made the book funny by doing different voices.
I really like it, it’s a really good book.
I like the way all Joe wanted was a friend.
This is also a book of David Walliams. One of the funniest stories I've read in 12 years which is my age. I recommend it to people who likes money. (But you can't earn money by reading this book. Maybe just fun)
It was fiction and I really liked it.
This fiction book is hilarious. It is full of laughter and things no one could ever think of. I like David Walliams way of this as it embraces imagination to come to life. This book gave me the most laughter ever and was very fun to read.
Very interesting , the little boy wants to be normal but his father wants him to act rich and go to a posh rich school
There were lots of different styles in this book, like drama and romance. My favourite character was Spud because he was funny and a bit dumb! I didn't like when the character ran away from his dad because it was nerve-wracking.
My favourite character is Bob because he is the only friend of Joe. At last, he forgives Joe and let Joe and his dad stay in his house.
I would recommend to others because this book held a really important moral (money can’t buy happiness) and it is full of exciting
parts.
I liked the part where it talks about Joe forgives his dad and recommends his dad to go to Bob’s house and have a Shepherd’s pie for tea .
I like how Mr Spud had a squintillioon pounds
so many twists and turns
