This is an easy to read fiction book with lovely illustrations but could also be used on a deeper level. It opens up deeper links with PSHE, understanding relationships, family and perspective. It would be lovely to discuss with a class on how the main character’s perspective shifts throughout the story and why this might be. Great introduction to letters to home and the setting of the countryside.
