I love this book because it is very interesting to read and extremely detailed. My favourite story in the book is the elephants child because it is really funny.
It is the best book ever and I love that real things such as how the camel got its hump can be trasformed into a story. I deffonatly recomemd it to others.
I read The Butterfly that stamped. I liked how it was all about not showing off and how the king helped the butterfly which also made his wives stop arguing. It was quite a simple story.
The story about the crab was very clever and I liked how the kangaroo changed when it was running away.
It was really nice seeing what Rudyard Kipling thought of all the different animals - I liked hearing myths about them.
I liked the story about the whale
I learnt life lessons through animals!
These life story tell you a fascinating things like her leopard got a spot how camel got his hand and how the alphabet was made first published in 1902 and illustrated by an author himself this enchanting book is one of the yard Kipling’s most famous
I like this book
I like just so much
I liked this book it was good. l would recommend this book for all ages. Especially like how the camel got it's hump.
very nice stories
lovely
A mixture of different stories, perfect for older kids and animal lovers. Several hard words but otherwise good.
Gnasher is not in them (How the Gnasher got his Teeth'?), but this is best of a bad lot for the covers. Quite good fables by Rudyard Kipling, though he can come across as a little patronising O best beloved. You learn some interesting new animals such as Yellow Dog Dingo and you see the character of each creature. Favourite character: The Cat Who Walks By Himself.
A clever, inteligent selection of stories
I loved this book. My favourite story in it was the one about the armadillo. You should read this book.
I love animal stories
This book is where how the animals we know got their things like spots, trunk, rough skin and so many more.READ IT TO CHECK IT!!!
I LOVE THIS BOOK
It is about the new world which started!
This isn't very good for young people because there are a few confusing words. The story's were lots of story's with lessons in them like how the lepeord got its spots. Some of the story's made me laugh!
This book is quite a diffucult read maybe for children that are older or know more diffucult vocabulary. I would say that the hardest chaapter to read was the first chapter which you might need to read twice ! Overall it is a very good book for children aged 10 to whenever, hope you find this helpful!
This book was funny, the way the myths are told and written put a picture in your mind. It was a collection of short stories so you can read bits if you only have a little time - or lots in a row if you are like me! My favourite was 'How the Whale got his Throat'. This version had lovely oil pastel illustrations.
