This has so much emotion and action its quite the ride

not as good as the first one but good

I liked how it was told but the John cotmore part was a bit inappropriate

My favourite character was John Cotemore because he supported Anna in her passion for drawing by getting her a scholarship. I like the way Judith Kerr has created imagery in the reader's mind using her own experience.

Bombs on Aunt Dainty is the first sequel to When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, the second sequel being A Small Person Far Away. I think this book is a good book for teenagers (even though I am not one yet) because it has some grown-up parts in it. I recommend it but you should read When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit first.
I also really like the style it is written in. It explains things that are gradually happening instead of telling one day and then the next. It also talks about various incidents that have occurred over time, which I like. They can be quite funny.

This is my favourite book in the trilogy, as it tells the story of what happens next to Anna after she has come to England and finished school.

Bit repetitive to the first book

Great book! This is the second book I the trilogy by Judith Kerr. It follows Anna, now living in London, through the Blitz and the topical issues of the time such as the blitz, the detention of foreign nationals living in Britain and the events of WW2.

Sequel to "When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit", Bombs on Aunt Dainty is a fictional story based on the author''s own life.

I prefered When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit to this book. In this book, Anna (the main character) is already 16 and it was harder for me to relate to her than in the previous book where she wa's 11.

This book is for slightly older fans of Castle on the Sea, Anne Frank and just generally World War 2 enthusiasts around 13+.

It was a great book about the the second world War. It was fictional but based on a non - fiction event. I didn't enjoy it as much as the Return of the Railway children. I would recommend it to people who like war stories

I enjoyed that it was based on real life events. It was realistic and set in areas of London that I am familiar with. I thought it was a good way to learn about The Blitz and about Judith Kerr at the same time.

I would recommend it to my friends. I've even told my Grandma to read it as she grew up in London at that time.

We learnt about the Second World War at school so this was interesting.

I highly recommend this book for people who want to find out more about the Holocaust as this brilliant book tells the story of a young girl called Anna.

It’s amazing

I especially loved the ending; it leaves you on a cliffhanger which makes you want to read the next book.

Really enjoyed this book it was beautifully written and had a amazing plot line considering the fact that it's a true story.

I don't really agree with the title - it doesn't make much sense with the story. I think the original title ('The Other Way Round') is better.

The description of the blitz was very dramatic and made it feel real.

I'd say this book is for older readers than the first book ('When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit') probably for readers 11+.
