Good freinds
I read this book to my little cousin he liked it and enjoyed reading with me
My favourite character is duck because he wanted to stir for a change. I like that he wouldn't stop until they let him. He was persistent. I would recommend this to people who like cooking and don't give up.
I liked when the duck walked away but then he turned around and came back.
A lovely story making soup.

My favriote person was duck .Becuase when duck made pumpkin soup all by him self... he splatted the whole kitchen with pumkin soup!
I liked this book it was sad but then happy again, I liked the end bit when the duck plays the bagpipes. The illustrations are really good.
This wonderfully enchanting autumnal story is perfect for those cosy, autumn nights. The Cat and the Squirrel come to blows with the Duck in arguing about who will perform what duty in preparing their pumpkin soup. The story is also complete with a lovely pumpkin soup recipe. Beautiful, warm and inviting illustrations help to transport your imagination to a whole new world, enabling you to get lost in a book. I would recommend this book!
It was a really good book. It had a good story, sad and happy all at the same time.
This is a great book, we read at school too
I liked that the duck stirred the soup
This book is great; it's about a cat, a duck and a squirrel, telling us that sharing is a good thing.
My mum used to read Pumpkin Soup to my brother and me when we were little, but I’ve picked it up again and read it! When you are a very little kid, you may need a parent to read it to you as the words may be a little challenging at first, then when you are a little more advanced at reading, you can read it yourself!! The sentences are not too small but they are also not too tricky. If you are quite advanced with reading, it may not be the best book for you. Pumpkin Soup teaches you about how it’s nice to share or others might feel left out or sad, how noise can be irritating, how when maybe you might have said or done something unkind to someone else you can feel bad which is a good thing because it means you care about the person. The poor duck in this story feels left out when his friends cook dinner all the time and don’t include duck, but then his friends feel guilty and worried about him when he leaves the cabin!
I liked the noisy bagpipes at the end
I thought this book was great
I liked it when the duck stirred the soup really fast.
It was very good because I liked the soup and the ingredients and that they had to work together to make it nice
