A beautiful paperback edition of The Magician’s Nephew, book one in the classic fantasy series, The Chronicles of Narnia. This edition is complete with cover and interior art by the original illustrator, Pauline Baynes.
On a daring quest to save a life, two friends are hurled into another world, where an evil sorceress seeks to enslave them. But then the lion Aslan’s song weaves itself into the fabric of a new land, a land that will be known as Narnia. And in Narnia, all things are possible. The Magician’s Nephew is the first book in C. S. Lewis’s classic fantasy series, The Chronicles of Narnia, which has captivated readers of all ages for over sixty years. This is a stand-alone novel, but if you would like to journey through the wardrobe and back to Narnia, read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the second book in The Chronicles of Narnia. I would recommend this book to anybody else because it was very exciting. My favourite character was Diggory because I thought he was very courageous.

not bad not good but it is a nice book
I liked this fantasy book and i am now a fan of narnia. i would recommend this to children who like fantasy and mysteries.
Doesn't have the three book factors no action no imagination and no fun. Really boring would not recommend it. I mean it shouldn't be 4 stars it should be 1 star! Don't trust the good reviews trust me skip and read book 2 they're way better!

I think the ice queen is a bit rude
lots of adventures and imagination
I have enjoyed the Naria books. They are magical
I liked the adventure, and where the story took me. Aslan was my favourite character because I thought it was incredible that a lion could speak
It was good.
I was an interesting opener to the Narnia chronicles.
This book was pretty good as it was full of great description and it was from another world. Although it wasn't the best book that I have read, I would recommend it to others around the ages of 9-14.
I enjoyed this book because I like how Polly and Digory found Narnia. My favourite character was Strawberry the horse.
My favourite character is Uncle Andrew. I find magicians very exciting!
Unbelievable super cool!
This book sets up the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe very nicely. It ties in with the creation story and explores ideas of evil inclination, purity and sin.
It is like the life of Jesus and shows what is good and that you should betray some one that you love for money. I will recommend this book to any one that like adventure and learning.
Great
It was good. It was exciting. I liked strawberry/fletch because it had wings.
It is a interesting book
A girl and a boy go to a magical land called Narnia. There, they meet a God called Aslan, a lion.
I liked Digory.
Yes I would recommend the book.
Full of magic and i didn`t expect what would happen. A book I devoured in a few days. it`s an amazing story with a great plot.
it was are good story
This book was very interesting because it had adventure and magic.
I like it because it was adventure story what i like and i like how they would be in and out of the wardrobe and when they were trying to stop the evil queen
The fictional book was exciting but horrifying when the witch died. It was boring at the start because you have to get to know everybody's name and it's hard to remember. My favourite character is the new King of Narnia. I would recommend this story to people who like fantasy books.
