Matilda

I really loved this book. My favourite character is Matilda because she is magic. My favourite bit in the book was when Miss Trunchbull fainted because it was really funny. She fainted because a sentence the magic Matilda put on the whiteboard was actually one of her secrets.

I loved this book because it was about a girl who loves to read. She loved to read even though her parents didn't like it. She is very kind and positive

I watched the Matilda movie and it made me want to read the book.In this book what I like is that maltida has superpowers and she is a great brilliant child.also miss trunchbull the teacher makes me laugh and she looks a bit like a giant.

It was impossible to stop reading this book as soon as I began. I liked that it had lots of talk about friendship and maths, English and reading. I think this book gives people confidence to read more.

Its a good book but its a tiny bit boring but still a good book my favourite bit is when Matilda glues her dads hat onto him its very funny

Matilda is very kind and Mrs Trunchball is scary.

Matilda was born a very small girl and belonged to a family of four. Her parents and brother. Her brother and mother were nice to her mother but her father was cruel. He always blamed her for everything. This in turn made Matilda become nutty and mischievous. Always treat and love children equally and fairly so as to bring out the best in them. Matilda is a must read.

I love Matilda is willing to do what it takes to help Miss Honey get her home back from Miss Trunchbull

I like how Matilda is very clever and does things in secret

My favourite part was when Miss Trunchbull said “I hate pigtails” and threw the girl. The girl ended up picking flowers.

When Matilda brought her friends Parrot home to prank her parents. I also thought it was funny when matilda glued Mr wormwoods hat to his head.

This was amazing. You will love it.

Matilda is a fiction book and my favourite character is Matilda because she’s the one who gets rid of the mean headteacher. I would recommend this book because it makes you feel happy when reading it.

Miss trunchable is horrible but miss honey is really nice.

My favourite part was when Matilda and Miss Honey went to Miss Trunchbulls house. It was very exciting.

I thought the bit when they put the slimy newt into the water was funny.

I loved this book because of a girl called Matilda. She was a very smart and special girl with extraordinary powers! I liked Matilda the best. She had a friend named Lavender. I recommend this book for Roald Dahl lovers.
