The Browns first met Paddington on a railway station – Paddington station, in fact. He had travelled all the way from Darkest Peru with only a jar of marmalade, a suitcase and his hat. The Browns soon find that Paddington is a very unusual bear. I would recommend this book to children aged 5 to 8 years, particularly if they love animals. I enjoyed getting to know the bear from Darkest Peru, and reading about all his mishaps and misunderstandings. From the text, it was easy to create imagery scenes in my mind which Michael Bond described brilliantly.
This is one of my favourite storys. I love paddington. Mummy read this so be before bed
Paddington Bear is very cute and he goes on lots of adventures.
It was not very good because i don't like Paddington that much . I'd prefer winnie the pooh.

Firstly, it was a VERY funny story I couldn't stop laughing. It's about a bear called Paddington crossing from Peru to England and gets taken in by the Browns family. He gets into plenty of trouble and a bit of mischief, this has got to be one of the best books I've ever read and probably ever will read. I would definitely recommend it to you!

Paddington is my favourite character because he's funny. He reminds me of Winnie the Pooh because he's not very clever but everything he does somehow turns out right. I like his friend, Mr Gruber too and all the adventures that Paddington has.
I thought that this book was awesome and impressive. I think Paddington is hilarious even if he doesn't mean to be. In a few minutes, he managed to cover himslef with cream and jam. Of course Judy found it hilarious! Paddington is always raising his hat. Also, when he drew attention to a shop, it was just so funny and he got to have whatever he wanted from the shop for free. My faviroute charcter is Paddington because he's just so funny and comical. I reccomend this book ro everyone as it is awesome and amazing!
It was a really lovely story about how paddington live with the brown family and that how he got his name.
It was a nice ending that paddington became friends with Mr Gruber and that he wishes aunt Lucy could join him on his adventure
An old favourite revisited
It was a fiction book and it was good.I enjoyed the story because it had good characters and was enjoyable to read.I would recommend this book to children who enjoy reading fictional books.
It was quite long and didn't have many pictures. Grown ups might like it.
I like this book because it is interesting and it probably is what would happen with a talking bear from darkest Peru. My favourite character is Paddington because he is funny. I would recommend this to people aged 10+.

These are the first Paddington stories showing how he comes to live with the Browns. I love the films and TV series so knew that Paddington would cause a lot of trouble. I really enjoy these stories!

If you really like confusing and hilarious books ,this the right book for you and it really grabs with different feelings in it as well, suppose, joyful at the beginning. With lots of adventures within it it will really grab you by the hand .
Not forgetting ,this book was so good that I read it in a day!!!
