King Minos is a very greedy fellow , he only want everything to be his , King Minos took Daedalus and his only son Icarus and locked 🔒 them up in a cave high above the sea and there was only one entrance to the cave and the king put soldiersto guide the cave in order for them not to escape and if they make the attempt to escape will be killed by the soldiers and if they try to jump , they will not survive because the waves from the sea is too strong. But as Icarus turn sixteen, he didn't want to stay in the cave any longer he really want freedom, but the father was scared at first, but later his father realised that he really needs to look for a way to set his son free and they started to collecting feathers 🪶 and Daedalus use it to make the stuff which they use to escape the cave but unfortunately the wax melted because Icarus was too exited and flew too close to the sun and by the time he realise himself it was too late .
All the fathers were off, his father try to save him but it was too late. He died and his father (Daedalus) name the Island after his son .
Island Icaria was name after his son Icarus and Daedalus built a temple to the sun God Apollo and inside the temple he hung the wings he had created and he vow never to fly again .
i would recommend it to my sister.
