Anthony Horowitz brings Sherlock Holmes back and manages to capture Arthur Conan Doyle's style well although it is certainly darker than any of the original sherlock holmes stories. Whilst no explicit details are given the themes within this book are not suitable for younger readers in primary or early secondary. Dr Watson and Sherlock need to unravel a mystery tied to government conspiracies and the dark parts of the criminal underworld. Is this one mystery that's too difficult for even the great Sherlock holmes to unravel?
