Skulduggery Pleasant

This book is quite interesting and I would recommend it to fans of action stories.

Three words to describe this book: VIOLENT. DEADLY (and dead). LIES.

I loved the action and suspense.

I liked Detective Skulduggery Pleasant due to his funny nature and his snarky comments, I would 100% recommend it to others

To however reads this:this book is awesome. The story is a brilliant mix of horror, comedy and adventure. This book is guaranteed to make you smile at least once. There are 15 books in the series, 3 extra stories (that are just as brilliant) and a single graphic novel. I have read every book in this series and I have never been disappointed. Please also try demon road as it is by the same author, who is very funny. They are trying to set up a merchandise shop/website this year—2023 at the time of writing— and that shall hopefully be open soon.

Lots of fantasy characters, very interesting. Funny.

It was incredible and really well written

The book was very breathtaking and reading it felt like a rollercoaster of emotions. It was packed with action, adrenaline and betrayal. I would recommend this book to anyone who is nine +. I really enjoyed this book because I like adventure stories and the good weren’t always in the best situations.

It is good if you like mystery and magic

I really enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Tanith Low. I liked reading about all the gruesome deaths and the vampires.

Love it and it starts off very interesting.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy mystery and magic as well as the occasional murder.

I thought this was great. The characters were engaging and the mix of adventure and comedy is very popular with young people so I am not surprised it is a popular choice for them. Skulduggery is a great character as is Stephanie but I also really liked Stephanie's father who didn's seem to know what was going on most of the time.

I absolutely loved this book! My favourite character was serpine.

I thought this book was a great book.

I am not giving away the plot but, Gordon Edgely is dead. Stephanie meets Skulduggery Pleasant after Uncle Gordon's Funeral. She joins his adventures to save the whole world!

Love the comedic humour and quick wit, alongside magic and mystery.

Very good

Thus book is by far my fav series ever . The first book really focuses on Valkrie ( Stephanie's chosen name) really exploring who she us and who her late uncle was. Crime fantasy is one of my preferred genres there are 15 books to get I would recommend to 9-13 year old as it can get a bit to thrilling.

I really enjoyed this book. Dark, fantasy, adventure. Amazing characters and drama. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

A jolly good read with some fantastic characters. Lots of action, excitement and magic and also very funny. It does include some violence so best for secondary level. The tone is quite adult in places and i really enjoyed it.

it was a good description in the battle situations. I would say my favourite character is Skullduggery Pleasent joint with ghastly bespoke.

A great book

Pretty good

I thought this book would be ideal for reluctant readers. The banter between the main characters is hilarious as is Skulduggery’s sarcasm. Had me laughing aloud several times. The plot is definitely set up for a range of sequels and prequels.

I think it was a very good book I like the sceptre and would recommend it to anyone aged 9+ .
