Another hilarious tale of primary school life from the Blue Peter award-winning team. Nothing is as it seems for Izzy and friends, and the drama is always off the scale…
Izzy and friends are excited to find that their school trip involves an overnight train ride. But when they get on board, they’re shocked to discover that EVERYTHING is STRANGE. And the BUNK BEDS are TINY! And then their teacher disappears… OH NO! Miss Jones has been kidnapped! EVERYONE PANIC!!!

This book was SO great and SO crispy and SO robbery! Basically, it was brilliant. Pamela Butchart is an incredible author, and Thomas Flintham's illustrations are the perfect ingredient to make Pamela's books extra amazing! This story is mysterious, puzzling and super funny!
I really enjoyed this book. I have enjoyed all of the Pamela Butchart books that I have read. They are really funny and remind me of being at my school.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Pamela Butchart books.
This book was very good and also very funny. I recommend it for ages 7 and up. It has a good plot twist. Izzy is my favourite character as she is really funny.
I’m in love with this book eaten though it is only three stars here My real rating is three point five stars but I adored the concept and as per usual Pamela did an amazing job and I can’t wait to continue this series
Very funny
I love this book because Izzy and her class went on a sleeping train! But, as things were getting exciting, something horrible happened on the train! But, Izzy and her gang were on the mission. Suspicions raised as things were just getting crazier...
I would rate this book 10 out of 10. I loved the story theme and i enjoyed how it was funny and creepy at the same time.
I love the book!
I thought it was really scary but then they solved the mystery. The end was surprising as the teacher was the robber.
This is one of the best stories in the Baby Aliens series. The characters have developed well and some of the jokes in this book are really good, for adults and children. I love these books.
It was an amazing book, but The picture of the hooded person kind of scared me a little when I read it at night But once I got to read it more, it’s was just all funny in the end and I really really enjoyed it Again, one of the best books I’ve ever read probably
This book was funny because it was about crisps! I like the pictures in the book too.
i liked Gary Petrie the best, since all he cares about is himself. He's the one, like in the title, who gets his crisps stolen. Izzy, the main character, Jodi and Zach, her friends unexpectedly jump off the sleeper train to solve the mystery
Very good book
i think its her best book because jodi, izzzy and gary actually run of the train and run onto a different part of the train and just have a great adventure!
I reallly enjoyed it. A thrilling mystery book that you can’t put down.
Another hilarious addition to this amazing series. I laughed out loud all the way through as this is exactly what I could imagine happening on a school trip! My class will love it. The illustrations were super and complemented the story perfectly.
My favourite character was Jodi because even when Gary tried to take over her investigation she stood her ground and didnt let him takeover.I would definitely reccomend it to younger children as it is a fairly easy read.
I liked this book because it was full of tension and it was very exciting. My favourite character was Izzy because she jumped of the train when she was supposed to stay on.Iwould recommend it to my frioend Evie because she has another of pamela butchart's boks that she enjoys .
Izzy and her friends go on a school trip in a sleeper train but when Izzy spots a suspicious hooded figure, she knows something is going to wrong.....
When they find a packet of Gary's crisps, they know that the hooded figure is up to no good.
This book is full of humour and suspense and is really accessible to younger readers because of the limited amount of text on each page.
