A stunning graphic-novel adaptation of the megaselling Artemis Fowl.
This adaptation of his genre-busting, award-winning novel Artemis Fowl has been a labour of love for lifelong graphic novel fan Eoin Colfer, and Andrew Donkin. Art by Giovanni Rigano and colour by Paolo Lamanna.
Twelve-year-old Artemis Fowl is a brilliant criminal mastermind. But even Artemis doesn’t know what he’s taken on when he kidnaps a fairy, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon Unit. These aren’t the fairies of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed and they’re dangerous. Artemis thinks he’s got them just where he wants them, but then they stop playing by the rules . . .

Little more detail
This was good, it was different to the original book.
I love Artemis Fowl books!
This was a graphic novel adaption of book 1 of Artemis Fowl, and my favorite character was Holly the fairy.
it was very exciting and you didn't want it to end.
I liked it at first but it got boring after
Artemis Fowl is a strict leader of his group. Even though he is strict, he led his team to the magic book. I like this fictional book because it was interesting to see how the characters coped with each other. I'm not sure who I would recommend this book to.
It had lots of action and I liked the characters.
really good
Artemis Fowl is a ruthless criminal mastermind and he is twelve years old...
No scheme is too dastardly, no plot is to devious.and he has just discovered that faeries are real.
POOR FAERIES.
HOWEVER FAERIES ARE ARMED AND DANGEROUS...
Then Artemis fowl captures elf holly short in an attempt to ransom her faerie gold.
Artemis Fowl is about to find out that faeries fight back...
I thought this book was very confusing and hard to read, I rate it 1/5. My favourite person if I had to choose would be Holly because she did not have to do something kind for Butler but she did. I did not have a favourite part as i did not like it. I would not recommend.
It’s exciting and fun to read
I don’t know what it means
I like this book because Artemis Fowl is a funny, criminal mastermind and there is a bit mad horse scientist in the book. Julies Root is the commander of a team with a slightly crazy loud fairy trapped in the Fowl Manor.
not the best book I've read.
A brilliant graphic novel version of this story. I've always loved the Artemis Fowl series and this graphic novel did not disappoint. The portrayal of the characters was fascinating and I think it would definitely pull any reluctant reader in.
I enjoyed this book so much! It is a real thriller and very hard to put down! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
I liked this version more than the normal one as it was more fun to read and made the story more exciting.
This is a fiction book and I would really recommend it to someone who likes elves, dwarves, weird monster creatures and blood. It was really enjoyable book to read for someone who is getting older (10). The pictures were good and I could tell a lot of what was happening from these. I rate this book 5/5
Boolean
I actually read the writing book not the graphic novel but I couldn’t see it on the search. Artemis captures Holly who is a fairy so he can get fairy gold.
Amazing.I had read the book not the graphics novel but the book wasn't on the list. That is why i picked the graphics novel.
it was a gripping read.
I would recommend this to other readers
It is an unpredictable book
This book is great. I love working out the codes!
it was a amazing book with lots of detail and has great pictures to look at throughout the book and great bad guys.
Epic
This is a great book if you like Percy Jackson or mystical books. I would recommend this to eleven and twelve year olds who like comics.
Artemis in colour is fab-u-lous! It makes the action seem more intense.
