I liked Andar the best, because he was unique.
I would recommend, but some children will find it sorrowful.
The relationship between Tuuli and Wren and the sense of adventure resonate with me (and my class)
I enjoyed this book due to it being set in the stone age which has been my project at school. I also love wolves so really enjoyed their relationship.
This book is full of adventures and travel.
It tells you a lot about how people lived in the ice age and how they lived their lives.
Also, the different roles in the tribe: such as, way finder and shaman.
My favourite character was Lupa, she was a wolf who tuuli rescued when Lupa had hurt her leg.
They both set off on adventures together.
I would recommend this to book to anyone 9 and above and also people who enjoy history and facts.
I really loved that book. My favourite character is Tuuli! My most favourite part is when Tuuli rescued the wolf! I recommend this book for children who love books about prehistoric time.
Fascinating subject and time period, could not put it down! I felt that it could have done with some of the language notes being at the start of the book, rather than the end of it, and then just the history notes at the end?
A fabulous prehistorical novel where we get to follow Tuuli's adventures as her tribe move between their winter and summer camps. Full of gorgeous descriptions, lots of action and rooted in historical facts - this book is unputdownable!
This book is the first in the sierius of the most amazing adventure, I loved it!
This is set to be a spectacular series! Set in prehistoric Europe, this fass paced and highly evocative story follows Tuuli as she embarks on a seasonal journey with her tribe. Roberts has crafted an adventurous and brave character in Tuuli as she begins to question traditions and tribal norms. As the seasons change we travel with the talo through a beautifully described landscape. Alice Roberts, an academic who specialises in human anatomy, archaeology and history, has written a pacy and thrilling tale. Even the surprising ending does not disappoint.
This is a good book, I like the way it talks about the Ice Age, its cool. It also means I get to prove my brother wrong about guns before 1978
FAB-U-LOUS! Even with the sad ending, the twists and turns of their book are glorious!
Very, very good! Very inspiring. I learned a lot about Native Americans. I LOVE Native Americans!!!
Really intresting. sad ending
This book is amazing and is set back to the Stone Age times.
Amazing. Set in the Ice Age, it’s a story of loss, bravery and hurt
Was great to read fiction but learn about the life of ice age people at same time.
