Top book, deserves another star!
great
sad and funny
HI,
This is a fictional book and my favourite character is Finn who is the biggest prankster in the world.Once he goes missing everyone says he died or did he. His best friend Eric can't believe he died!Eric got a letter which gives him clues which he thinks will help him to find his best friend Finn!
I would recommend this to others because it has mysteries and it is exciting!
Interesting but not very adventurous or exciting.
This book made me laugh out loud but it also made me cry. The characters are all well built and have their own stories. Eric’s mum and aunt are fab and Finn sounds like everyone’s perfect best friend. It deals with death and the loss of a friend in a very relatable way. That’s why I’ve included it in my recommendations for books to share in challenging circumstances
My favourite characters were Eric Griffin and Finn Jones. It was a really funny book but also quite sad. It had lots of funny or sad flashbacks. I would definitely recommend it.
What a fab book! It did make me chuckle in places but the theme is quite emotional. Finn and Eric are best friends and take on the world together. So when Finn gets ill and dies, Eric thinks it is just a very elaborate prank. Finn has set a kind of treasure hunt for Eric to complete and Eric thinks the treasure is going to be Finn. A very moving story, full of humour and the only think that spoils it is the use of the word 'arse' four times and the mention of an inflatable 'thingy' referencing male genitalia. Aimed at yr5+
