I would recommend this book because as you can tell by the title it has a giant adventure in this book which always makes a reader to keep on reading it. The dedication of this book is for all the kids who have dyslexia never lose hope and the main character is Billy who is dyslexic is saying you have the power to see things in ways no one else will! Find your way, just like Billy. THE BILLY--BOY WAY!. That is one of the reasons why i love this book is because of the quotes in the book.
It is a fiction book. My favourite characters are Jesse and Autumn.
It is fiction. My favourite characters were the twins Billy and Jesse.
I like it because it is an adventure.
This was a good book but I think Jamie Oliver should keep to cooking, I found that even though the book was interesting and the illustrations were very detailed, that this book was talking about food every few sentences and just trying to get children to cook his recipes.
It’s a non fiction book and I liked billy the most because he was the main character. I found it very fun and adventurous. I would recommend it to someone else who likes adventure and fun.
I have already read this book twice but I can’t stop. It’s just so good!
100% BRILLIANT! The book was so good that when I had time to read it, I could not stop reading it. I was even reading it in the car on the way to a football match. I give it a 5/5 and I hope you enjoy it if you read it. I really think you should!

It is a great story
The story begins with twins Autumn and Jesse asking “Dad, please can you tell us a story from your head tonight?” He thinks about it and then begins to tell them “a true story about something that happened back in the eighties”
Billy and his three best friends; Anna, Andy and Jimmy live in the small town of Little Alverton. Billy according to his friends has the biggest heart and loves to invent and make things, Anna is fearless and fiercely loyal, Andy is always himself and happy in his own little world, whilst Jimmy is full of energy and is obsessed with nature. Together they love nothing more than having fun and exploring, but there is one place that they have never been, Waterfall Woods. Surrounded by a tall wall there seems to be no way in and there have always been stories about strange creatures and strange things that have happened in the woods. However, following a storm Anna finds a way over the wall and into the walled in wood where the four friends can’t wait to explore.
The story that follows is beautifully written and exquisitely illustrated, with characters, both good and bad really coming to life through both the words and pictures. It’s a story filled with nature and the children’s love of and care for the environment as we follow them trying to solve the mystery of dying plants and animals. With magical sprites, smelly monsters, brave children who work together and some fabulous fart humour it’s a face-paced, great read set in time when a bunch of 9 year olds could safely go out and play all day.
