The third instalment in the brilliantly funny and fast-paced House at the Edge of Magic series.
""A fabulously funny book – I loved it! Prepare to be whisked away on an adventure bursting with magical surprises, dark secrets and strawberry tea…"" – Lucy Strange
Nine and her friends have cured the house’s hiccups and are off to the strange and utterly unpredictable Back of Beyond in search of Professor Dish – Spoon’s best friend and partner in all things alchemy.
When they find Dish trapped by the greedy witch Ophidia in the basement of a particularly marvellous shop, it soon becomes clear they’re going to need something more than Flabberghast’s dicey magic and Nine’s quick thinking to triumph this time. What they really need is a rather clever witch – one particularly good at curses…

i like it when it sounds magical
I liked it because it was mysterious but I didn't really like it because it was hard to understand what was going on.
I’m still hanging off my seat! I have so many questions and am kind of annoyed their isn’t another one to clear everything up
I liked Nine's temper and how it helped get things done.
I liked this book as it had lots of adventures to read about
It was a fiction book with lovely illustrations but many words. It is also stuffed with magic and wizards and many other exciting things like a talking candle!
Really enjoyed those book. Lots of description to use your imagination
Amazing, with bad turning good.
Unspeakably magnificent
This story was so funny. I really enjoyed reading it and all the twists and turns kept me really excited for the next page
A fantasy adventure about shops in different realms. Would suit readers in KS2. Lots of strange characters keep you on your toes.
