This book was fantastic it was gripping from the start to finish. It was a book that I just couldn't put down. The story line was full of action from start to finish. It was great how some of the villagers stuck together to help Ruby & "her father". It had you on edge throughout the book & the ending was powerful but sad in some respects for the soldier, silver.

I loved this fast paced book. Plot development was great although the characters lacked a little depth. Kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end.
