Lottie Brooks continues to navigate the many perils of growing up in this fantastically funny illustrated series for a 9-12 audience, filled with friendship, embarrassing moments and plenty of lols.
Woe is me. So much is wrong in my life…
Still look like a tomato
Am stuck indoors whilst my friends go bowling without me (rude)
My parents are leaving me to go out on a ‘Date Night’. GROSS!
After a summer of meeting handsome French boys and getting a tiny bit sunburnt. OK, fine – a lot sunburnt, Lottie’s heading off on a week-long residential school trip. A whole week away from embarrassing parents and Toby’s tasty air biscuits!
But the trip soon turns into a total disaster. The other girls staying at the camp are MEGA-MEAN, best friend Jess is spending all her time with new girl Isha, and Lottie’s diary gets stolen!
Who knew a school trip could cause so much DRAMA?!
Perfect for fans of Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Dork Diaries and Wimpy Kid.
Readers LOVE Lottie Brooks:
My daughter couldn’t put it down and read it in 2 days. Read at breakfast, walking downstairs, tea time, in the bath.
My 9-year-old daughter devoured it in two nights, and all I could hear from her was giggling and the occasional ""Mum! Listen to this! This is SO me!"".
My 12 year old reluctant reader took this book, read 100 pages in one night and proclaimed it ‘the best book ever’
Katie has managed to capture the essence of what this group think and feel in a positive, life-affirming fashion’

The Lottie brooks books are my all time favourite, I’ve read them all more than once! Lottie is really funny and I think I am a bit like her, she also has an annoying little brother just like I do!
Not my favourite but really funny and good

Super fun to read. Made me laugh out loud
This book is an amazing mix of pure chaos, worrying moments and brilliantly random and hilarious scenarios! I would recommend each and every Lottie Brooks book to anyone. They are just hilarious, yet sometimes sad, or now and then relatable. It’s just a whole journey; it’s like your there with Lottie all the way through the ups and downs to support her, just she doesn’t know it.
It was very funny and I liked that it would have flash backs in
This 4th edition was even funnier! Lottie’s best friend Jess is the best character!
Really funny and she gives one of the older girls a nickname pointy nose
I really liked it because she got stronger and braver and stood up to a girl who was mean to her and showed friendship because of Amber saved her lots of times so it was really nice and funny
I enjoyed the adventures with her friends. I rated it 4 stars because near the end of the book it felt a little too grown up for me.
Yes because l think it is funny and very good and happy

Lottie goes through hard times but with her best friends Jess, poppy and Molly by her side I thought they could do anything but thats not how it turns out.
I thought this book was great
The school trip was the funniest because there was a really mean school visiting too with a girl called Phoebe who was hanging out with Lotties crush. I like when she slipped over.
It was cool because it was the first time she had been away from her parents for a week.

I liked the drama
It was really good
loved
It was good. My favourite character was Lottie, and the funniest part was when one of the girls from the other school fell in burger Tom's sick. I would recommend this book to somebody who likes comedy.
This is my favourite book of the series so far because it is jam packed with hilarious and silly moments. It gives a good introduction to the changes that occur when growing up. There are some classic Lottie Brooks moments with comedy through out the book. I would definitely recommend!
