loved it
I really enjoyed this book. I like the use of onomatopoeia in this book. My favourite character is Ruth because she talks a lot like me.
I liked it because it had a silver alien but it wasn't an alien!
I really enjoyed this book because there was a crash in Ruth's garden.
She discovered that a flying saucer crash landed. She has been living with her very rude and annoying aunt ever since her parents had died. But Ruth still has her three - legged dog to keep her company
I love this book
I tried to find it in the library as soon as it came out
I would recommend this book to everybody
I really enjoyed this book.
I have read some other David Walliams books. This one was really good.
Typical David Williams type humour and entertainment and fiction style imaginative story of the alien with big secrets. I enjoyed it
Ruth is a little girl who's only friend is a dog with an egg whisk for a leg! When she meets Spaceboy, she wants to know everything.
But there might be a bit more to him than space...
It was amazing
I like space so I enjoyed this story I loved that they managed to blast into space at the end.
I loved the book because it was a bit mysterious at the start but it got a bit more into the space boy and then i realised space boy was not an alien but still at the end it was a great book.
This book was all about people thinking spaceboy was an alien but it turns out he's just a boy wearing a costume. It was a really funny read. My favourite part was towards the end when they blast down the adults and they all fell over.
This book is very funny and Spaceboy looks really cool because his outfit is kind of like armour. There’s a girl with a dog and the girl heard a noise and then she got out of bed, went outside and she saw something and I think it was a flying saucer!!
I liked it because Spaceboy and Ruth had to pretend Spaceboy was a alien but he actually wasn't, he was a boy named Kevin from the town next to Ruth. He built his own spaceship with metal and a tractor engine but he crashed into Aunt Dorothy's farm . When Aunt Dorothy found out about Spaceboy they had to make a run for it . They hopped on ostriches to escape and there a fast paced adventure!
My favourite character's were Ruth, Spaceboy and Yuri.
I would recommend this book, as it is fast-moving and fun, and lots of opportunities to speak in funny accents.
I enjoyed the story a lot and liked how she got to go to space, having dreamt of going for a long time.
I’d recommend this book because I liked the bit when they go to space with the spaceboy
its a great adventure book about a boy and a crash landed spaceship - i love this story and i even wrote to adma stower saying i loved his drawings and he wrote back !
I liked this book because it talks about space the characters are funny. Yuro the dog was my favourite because he bit a man’s bottom.
I like this book very much, with a lot of plot twists, chapters, and thrilling scenes!
This is a good book for people who like space like me . I enjoyed the book very much because I love space like the girl called Ruth.It is about two people who love space .They try to run away from there evil and wicked grandparents who hate space unlike Ruth and space-boy [Kevin.]
Hope you enjoy the book.
This book is simple and easy to read but on a broad scale it was quit a weak book . I excepted more coming off reading several of this authors books but I was met with a story with a generic plot , mediocre villains and an overall upsetting climax . However there were several good points , Ruth's personality reflects several children and Spaceboy's intentions and overall character is always interesting . It is a classic book that you can read when looking for something peaceful and simple . The chapters end with a bang and the naming connects with the space theme . I would recommend this but be where it could be boring and at the start it is very bland and repetitive . I liked Spaceboy best and believe this book despite being alright deserves a follow up or sequel . This book was fiction and is more aimed at 9-10 year olds as oppose to people my age
( 13) .
Another amazing book
It was cool.
I really enjoy this book. The most interesting part was when Spaceboy revealed who he was to Ruth. The story was entertaining.
Space boy was my favourite character, he pretended to be from out of space and made a cool space suit
This book was so much fun!
Very funny
Exciting fun adventures ups and downs this book had everything
I like how Spaceboy speaks in a spooky alien voice even though he’s actually human. I like how Aunt Dorothy the evil Aunt likes to snap like a crocodile and fire warning gunshots into the air meaning she can’t hurt the enemy.
I love space
