Some legends are born, some are drawn . . .
Famous works of art are disappearing from all over the world. One moment they are there, the next, they have crumbled to dust. Peanut Jones, artist and adventurer, and her friends suspect it might have something to do with the magical world of Chroma and the wicked Mr White’s plot to wipe out colour, art and creativity. It’s time to head back to the Illustrated City and help the resistance fight back. . .

This book was really adventurous. There were a lot of cliff-hangers and it was fun to read.
This book is perfect. It's funny it's got adventure it's about an illustrated City I don't think any other author has thought of that. I'm reading the Peanut books backwards for some reason because I already read Peanut Jones and the end of the rainbow before I joined the reading challenge and that makes a few things make sense like why they draw Rockwell with one sketchy shoe and one normal trainer. It also means that I've got a a few spoilers like I know who conte's heir, it's Leo Peanut's big brother. Nevertheless this book was a very good book and I loved it.
This book was brilliant.
It is a funny adventure story.
It is the second book in the series, I really enjoyed both of them and can't wait to find the third book in the series.
Love it
I loved the first book and this was just as good. I can't wait for the next one
It was a brilliant read this is the second in the 3 series of books it’s a great adventure about peanut jones little bit her sister and Rockwell their friend. It’s great for probably people who love an adventurous read and probably also children from 8 and upwards.
This teenage girl named Peanut loves to draw and play with her friends together. Peanut accidentally makes a portal with her pencil, and she saw her teachers.
I like one of Peanut's friends, Little Bit, because she's a very nice and younger sister, and I think she's the best family member.
I would recommend this book to people who want to know what's inside our drawings.
I read this quite awhile ago, but I didn’t see it when I searched up Inna Jones earlier still it. It was only released last year so it will not last year because it’s 2024 right now and I read it in 2023 and it came out in 2022but it was a great book to read I love illustrations in it it brings the book to life it’s so good i’m so glad that Rob Biddulph has done it. I’ve read all three of them. The third one just came out last year but I didn’t get it until the middle of the year. Well actually I don’t know anymore I got it late after September, so I guess that’s not the middle of last year because it was already like pre-order sold out that the debt so I got it right after September, so good I hope you try it. Best this around seven and up to read and I won’t give you a limit on how old do you have to be to read it but I would say around seven
It was a very exciting book
I was very much looking forward to this sequel and it did not disappoint. This episode of the Peanut Jones saga is packed full of art references and the illustrations are, unsurprisingly, excellent. Little Bit is without a doubt my favourite character and I am looking forward to seeing what the trio get up to next!
I liked this book
One of the best books I’ve ever read
Love.
This book was fiction and my favourite character was mr and mrs m because they didn't want mr white to do his plan so went out of their way to stop him.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone who believes in standing up for justice.
It was really funny and adventurous
it is a very good read and has a powerful twist at the end! Excited for number 3 to come out now.
Peanut was my favourite character as he was very adventurous!!
It is the best book!!! I love it and peanut reminds me of me! I love it and highly recommend!
I liked this book because she dipped the arrow into orange paint which covered anything it touched. My favourite character was Leo because he was a good friend to Peanut.
I liked the book very much and it is a good book for young artists. there is a prequel called Peanut Jones and the ilustrated city whitch I would recomend.
A brilliant book! Very capturing and I love the plot that is centered around mystery! Can't wait for the next book.
I liked how they broke the crayon fence. I would like a magic pencil.
Loved the book
The second book was even better than the first book. We could never seem to put it down had to read it all the time. It’s a brilliant story. I can’t wait the the third peanut Jones story.
This book was really fun and adventurous. I loved it!
I love Rob Biddulph's work anyway and this is an astonishing addition to his repertoire.
One thing I especially love about it is that the chapters aren't too long. You can have a short read and feel good, or you can read loads of chapters and get a real sense of achievement.
The book is fast-paced and doesn't give you an opportunity to get bored or wish it would hurry up.
The characters are so much fun and I love the addition of Rob's artwork - such a fantastic composition.
It carries on from the first book seamlessly and ended with me wishing the next book wasn't so far away!! '
