Reviews
I have really got into this series. The characters and plot keeps developing with clever detail. I look forward to reading the fourth book.
A light hearted murder book - if there is such a thing. Likeable characters who you can buy into. An easy read.
Another fun outing with The Thursday Murder Club! Not sure if I prefer this, or ‘The Man Who Died Twice’; both were equally good in my opinion, and Osman seems to be going from strength to strength.
It was great to be back in the world of Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim, and I was glad to see Connie continued to appear in this edition. Looking forward to seeing how things develop between Donna and Bogdan too!
The relationship between Bogdan and Stephen is my favourite I think, and also has the potential to be the most heartbreaking. Osman writes Stephen’s character with such knowledge and sensitivity. I know there is a fourth book in the pipeline and I am worried this is where we will finally say goodbye to Stephen; I hope not.
The whole book is written with such humour, as are the first two; I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next instalment.
What a read! could not out this one down. Following on from the first two in the series it left me laughing and crying in equal measure :)
