Curiosity climbs to the highest branch of a tree. Joy bounces on a trampoline. Gratitude warms you like a woolly jumper…

Initially the illustrations caught my eye and on reading the book, I found that the muted colours added to the satisfaction for me. I have a corner in the classroom that contains books and other items designed to support my pupils during moments of anxiety/ worry or low moods. Several of the class have read the book as well, saying that it helped "calm" them. I feel it is a book more suited to indivudal reading rather than a group.
A wonderfully illustrated book that allows the range of feelings that you might experience and allows for conversations to open up about those feelings!
I love words & stories and don’t naturally gravitate towards a picture book but this is an adorable book with stunning illustrations. The idea of all these emotions living inside us is expressed so thoughtfully each with their own actions makes this book a brilliant conversation starter.
