Sulwe

I like sulwe because it tells me that everybody is different. It tells me that everybody belongs in this world. And The brightness is inside of you. If somebody is mean to you, don't let them take your brightness. The pictures in the book makes me feel wonderful.

I like this book because it shows its not what you look like, it is who you are that matters.

I learnt that nobody is perfect.
It was based on a true life story.
I liked it because sulwe learnt to believe in her self.
I would recommend it to anyone

A beautiful book about not feeling beautiful in your own skin. Gorgeously illustrated which really brought to life the very real and important message this book represents.

This is the most beautifully illustrated book. Sulwe's journey to discover that she is truly beautiful (and not just because her mum says she is) is enchanting. This book is important for everyone to see the light in themselves and that we are all special. It is a beautiful book to include on our school library for all children to read.
