""Inspiring, enlightening and powerful. We have to make these dreams come true""— Chris Packham

Indigenous people and people of colour are disproportionately affected by climate change, yet often aren’t heard in global conversations.

In this book, British—Bangladeshi environmentalist and race activist ‘Birdgirl’ Mya-Rose Craig speaks to campaigners from around the world about what needs to be done.

From wildlife conservation to clean water, air pollution to plastic waste, climate justice to climate strikes, the time has come to listen to a generation of young people of colour demanding urgent change for the world they will inherit.

Sabrena Khadija's artwork is glorious. It doesn't just catch the eye, it envelops you and pulls you into the cover and then makes you flick, focus and digest every page's detail. 'Birdgirl' Dr Mya-Rose Craig's dialogue and texts highlight the dreams of many: for a healthy planet, climate justice and a fairer world (for all). Whist some pages may appear preachy to those who have yet to embrace change and the need to be sustainable, the book is frank, personal and highlights that our human race cannot go on the way it has been going on. The book offers hope, voice and ways to get involved. The combination of vivid artwork with striking messages are a powerful antidote to apathy.
