I liked how the cat wanted the hats, the book rhymes

This book is so silly because it has lots of words that rhyme with cat. It is like a tongue twister.

The cat was my favourite character because it chased the rat. It was funny.

Brilliant

From the front cover, this book reminded me the 'Oi Dog/Frog/goat' stories. The illustrations are brightly coloured and the text includes mostly early phonic sounds. The phrases repeat and build with each page turn. I like how the book is interactive, in as much as you have to turn it on its side to read some pages and even upside down. From time to time there is different size font, which is a good talking point. I particularly enjoyed the page which included 'the rat dashed and snatched the fancy cravat' - great vocabulary building. There were other similar examples of this in the book. The story was simple and fun. Great confidence boosting for early developing readers.

It was rhymes book about the cat, the rat , the hat and a fancy cravat. It was really boaring book and I wasn't interesting as well.
Maybe people who love cats can enjoy this book.

This book is lots of fun and very funny. I liked the bit where they were chasing around.

I liked the bit when the bat came in with his cravat and the cat and the rat wanted it.

I loved it because the cat and the rat fighted over a hat, but then they wanted a cravat, and then they said 'oh drat! The bat got the hat!'
