Interesting
Absolutely love this book! It feels like a modern-day version of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'! The illustrations are beautiful and engaging, with lots of little clues hidden throughout about where the story is heading. Brilliant for inference and reflecting the realities of different communities in schools.
My favourite part is when they went in the monster's lair and the monster sprang up and roared 'tickle time'.
An adventure to wake up big brother monster
I enjoyed the journey the siblings went through in order to find the monster! In the end they found out the monster was their elder brother Marcus! The ending was funny when dad told Marcus to stop tickling his brother and sister. When he said, 'And if I don't' mum said, 'we'll all tickle you' and they did!
It's funny to find out who the monster is at the end
An amazing book about monsters and imaginations.
My favourite characters are Charlie and Eadie because they worked together as a team and helped each other, and kind to one another. But the brother was a little nice to play with them as the monster
I like that they are using their imagination.
I liked it when Eddie and Charlie came across a tiger!

The book is very good it goes on and on. When you are not reading it you can still remember it. I like the ideas of the book. My best bit is when Marcus tickled his brother and sister.
You liked finding out the different things they would pick up from their walk. It was a good book.
I like this book because its about a brother and sister relationship and it makes me think about my brother and when he tickles me and they tickle each other at the end. I love my brother just like the story.
