I like that they all tickle the monster at the end

I really like the front cover, it gives lots of different texture of the places they explore. I like all the different wording used to describe the adventure and make it sound scary. I would say this is good for anybody and if you like look up, clean up, speak up and hey you, you are in for this!

A brilliant book for KS1, showing that there's fun and adventure to be had even just at home. Great to see Malorie Blackman writing something for younger readers.

Absolutely love this book! It feels like a modern-day version of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'! The illustrations are beautiful and engaging, with lots of little clues hidden throughout about where the story is heading. Brilliant for inference and reflecting the realities of different communities in schools.

My favourite part is when they went in the monster's lair and the monster sprang up and roared 'tickle time'.
