A great book
A lovely story and beautiful pictures.
I read this book twice and enjoyed it
It had a nice massage
Very good
I didn't like this one.
I loved the teacher and that she had lovely clothes and she was very adventurous. I loved the illustrations.
I read this book at school and asked my Mummy to buy it for us for home. I like the singing, poems and the teacher Miss Flotsam. She has travelled all around the world and tells the class about her adventures. There is a girl in the book who is really shy, she writes a poem and manages to read it to the class. Sometimes I feel nervous at school too, so I could relate to this book and how it feels like you’re ’climbing a mountain’ when you stand up infront of everyone. The pages are colourful and pretty and the drawings are really good!
There is something in this book that I love, which is poetry
I like the book and the colors are very good
It was quite nice story about why boy just like me.
It shows what you can do
I liked it because it sounded nice to read because it made me feel calm. The words used were interesting.
really liked this book because it has lots of beautiful illustrations, full of bright colours and great imagination. I loved the topics discussed in the book such as important fellings and emotions.
Intresting book!
The illustrations were beautiful
Nice book
I was immediately drawn to the bold colours and detailed illustrations of this book. There was so much to look at, before even reading the text - the time on the school clock, 'reading' the expressions on faces, noticing how the classroom looks similar or different to our own. From the illustrations and text, we were captivated by the teacher who appears larger than life and who pulls us in as she tells of her many adventures. But the boy in the story is anxious. Like many children he is worried about having to perform in front of others. As the story develops, he finds encouragement, understanding and inspiration from his teacher, which helps him to find his beautiful voice.
tells a person to just be confident and have courage in your life
Good book
It wasn't a very good book for my age. I'm 4.5 years old
I liked that he was shy at the start to talk but at the end he's not shy at all.
I liked the book it helped me to be confident to speak out loud to a group of people.
It fictional book and I liked miss Floatsom because she has had lots of adventures. I will recommend this book because the tell you about to love your voice.
It was a bit too easy but it lets me express my imagination because there is a teacher in it who likes writing poems. She tells a girl poems and the girl uses her imagination to see the poem.
He finds different words to expressions himself. The book is bright and colourful.
I would like to recommend this to a lot of people, if possible and I hope it inspires a lot of people to be confident about their actions and be proud of their (hopefully kind or brave) actions. ;)
I enjoyed the story. I liked the quiet boy who finally read his poem to the whole class. We all have magical voices.
This book is beautiful. Written in a poem like prose it depicts the worries and anxieties around reading aloud in front of others. It also shows children that their voices are meant to be heard and that through being resilient and persevering we can build our self confidence.
I would definitely recommend this to Key stage 1 and lower key stage 2 children especially when thinking about resilience and having a go.
