Meg and Ash are a pair of magpies who are building a nest for their perfect eggs. Although they begin their nest construction using the usual mud, sticks and grass, Meg and Ash are soon convinced that their nest doesn’t have enough stuff and begin to collect more things to add to an ever-growing pile. From cuckoo clocks to mops and socks, a pram and even a car – their need for stuff seems endless. Until – crash! – the inevitable happens.

It is very cute and it has a lot of baby animals
I love it!! I’d recommend this book!
Rhyming story about how wanting too much makes us forget what is important.
I liked this book. I felt sorry for the babies when the nest fell.
Magpies were funny, and how much stuff they could fit in their nest
Didn’t really like but mum did

I was amazing .
Wonderful rhyming and witty story, with a hidden message about recycling
It was great! I liked the birds which put too much stuff in their nest including a car. Their nest broke and it was just a pile of sticks and stuff, but under it was four perfect chicks.
I liked it when the babies hatched.
Great for the school topic of Reduce Reuse Recycle and about living more sustainably.

All I could say it was fun to read . It was really amusing to see my brother liked it.
Its very interesting story about birds are preparing for their eggs. they got everything small or big to make their nest more lively place. this is a fiction story and I like both parent birds. I would recommend this book for early readers.
Funny rhyming story with a good moral at the end.
I felt a bit sad for the badger to live on the concrete though it taught him a lesson! He learned to clean but not to destroy natural habitats.
I hope you learned a good lesson as well ! ( Only If you have read this book! )
I thought it was excellent because I have too much stuff just like those magpies.
I like it when the nest was ok after
