I really enjoyed Meesha Makes Friends because it is a warm and relatable story about friendship and feeling comfortable around other people. I liked how Meesha finds it difficult to talk to and connect with other children, but she learns that making friends can happen in small and gentle steps. The story made me think about how some people may be shy or communicate differently, and that this does not mean they do not want friends. I would recommend this book to young readers who are starting school, finding it difficult to make friends, or sometimes feel nervous in social situations. It could also be a good choice for children who need a reminder that everyone makes friends in their own way.

I liked the story because it was kind and made me feel happy. My favourite part was when Meesha found real friends who liked her just the way she is. The pictures were really colourful and fun to look at.

I like this book because Meesha is different, and she plays in a different way and thinks in a different way. This book is fact, based on girls and boys, who may be different like Meesha. I would recommend this book because we are all different people and we all need friends to play with.

I liked when Meesha made her new friend who was called Josh.

This book made me think of my friend in class, because he doesn’t like loud noises and Meesha doesn’t either. My friend is very good at art, just like Meesha.

A little girl called Meesha struggled to make friends. She was very shy but was really good at making Arts & Crafts. A little boy saw her doing her arts & crafts and said that they were very good.
