it was fiction and the person that I liked was Skandar because he didn't take the hatchery test and he got his unicorn who was called Scoundrels luck and at the end of his hatchling year he did the impossible-he stopped the weaver.
I loved the story, it was very adventurous and magical!
This book was full of action and adventure. I really liked it because of everything that was happening. Children aged 10-14 will like this book alot.
Skandar and the Unicorn Thief is one of the best books I have ever read. The person I liked best was obviously Skandar, he is kind and brave willing to do anything for his friends. The person I hated was Amber, she is always so arrogant and boasts a lot about her perfect qualities. She is also a big LIAR as she told everyone her father was killed by wild unicorns, but he was in jail for being a spirit wielder. I will definitely recommend this book to others, you will see a totally different side of unicorns.
I loved this book. It kept me captivated for hours.
I enjoyed the premise of this book and love the different characters within Skandar's group. The idea of Unicorns being fearsome beasts will appeal to different children and turns the mythology on it's head, which I enjoyed! I found it slightly predictable and not as much of a page-turner as similar books, but think it would be enjoyed by KS2 children.
I think this book is 1 of the best books I’ve ever read. I looooove it because it’s full of amazing adventures that this boy called Skandar
has,so I would love to recommend it to my friends who’s in?!
I loved this book. It completely changed how I think about unicorns! Great adventure and some fab characters. I particularly liked the four friends. I loved the action and mystery and would recommend it to anyone who likes adventures.
loved it
I found this book adventurous and it had a lot of detail about the characters, how they feel and look. But it jumped from one thing to another and I found it a bit confusing. Overall I would recommend it to people who like adventures and short stories.
I loved it and can't wait to read the rest of the series
I would recommend it to somebody else as I really enjoyed this book. My favourite character was Skandar because he was very brave.
I liked the whole quartet because they went on loads of adventures
This is a exciting book. I fully recommend it.
Brilliantly written. Can Skandar hide his true power??
I was very magical I really want to be come a unicorn rider now. My fav character is Kenna, she is so brave. I would recommend it if u like adventure stroies.
I like Bobby and it showed me how unicorns aren’t just pretty and beautiful
I would 100% recommend this book. It has adventure and excitement with a lot of surprises and unlikely friends.
I would recommend this book for people who like books with not many pictures but lots of words.
My favourite character is Bobby. Her real name is Roberta but she doesn’t like her name so is called by a nickname.
I loved the storyline, I would recommend it and my favourite character was Skandar. I have also read the other two in this series.
I loved skandar and the unicorn there ! The way A.F Steadman described the scenery made it come to life ! My favourite character is Mitchell! He is sarcastic and funny a bit like me. If you like unicorns this is your book
I like it because in most books, unicorns are friendly, smiley and have rainbow poo.but in this book, it mentions that unicorns are from your nightmares...
I think anybody who loves Harry Potter, elements and of course unicorns, will really like 'Skandar and The Unicorn Thief".
Skandar is mysteriously brought to The Island to become a Rider and finally train with his unicorn but his allied element is the 'fifth element'...
Very good and deatailed.
Love it! My favourite book I’ve ever read
it was amazing and it had an unexpected twist
This book had me gripped from the start. I was totally absorbed in reading about unicorns in a totally different light - not what I expected at all but I couldn't help but want to be in the book myself, hatching my own unicorn and becoming a unicorn rider!
My favourite character was Instructor Worsham because he seemed nice but joined the Weaver (Skandar's evil mum.) I would recommend this book to people who like adventure and tenseness.
I liked this book because it had suspense and secrets reveled I am so exited to read the next book.
Mind Blowing. Such an amazing adventure story, that when I read it, I can almost feel as if I am there.
Excellent
5/5
A fiction book.
Skandar took me on adventure that I will never forget.
Awesome book.
Unicorns are very rarely seen as bloodthirsty, they're usually in fairytales, it was brilliant to see them in a different light.
Loved it and recommend to everyone!
